Would it be wrong to have the game mailed to me during vacation (I know where I'll be staying) on the off chance that I might find a computer somewhere to play it on? Or does that sound a bit obsessed?
Have you considered added shipping time? Or are you talking about changing the original shipping order from Stardock? I don't know if you can do that.

Enjoy your vacation, man :) I'm going to have the first vacation with the woman I love in this week -- we're leaving tomorrow, indeed. Elemental will be a great game, maybe the best of all times, but some other things in life are just unpayable :)
I searched something and I have to apologize since I didn't understand the situation at all. I thought that the book would come with limited edition, instead it's a separate item to buy for both limited edition and standard edition. So you can just buy the book to get the campaign. It's still interesting to know, however, if the campaign will be available to the ebook version.
Then we will sit down and wait for you to have the time to search for it and let us know the answer. Really.
Ok, in the afternoon I'll see what I can do :D
For sure it's been answered before, but I got to go in minutes and don't have time to search it :P Will the additional campaign be released, for an additional price of course, to standard players too in the future?
When I read about it i thought it was like Neverwinter Nights/Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale series, isn't it?
When I asked the same for Italian I was told not, that the game will only be available in English. I wonder if all the XML goodness would allow a community translation project.
Speaking of the logo, why the L has no yellow corner? :D
You can remove it with no problems, your order has been placed.
I'm sorry to inform you that I just asked to the Stardock customer support and they said they're allowing us (I ordered last sunday, so no beta for me yet) that they're not planning to include new people until beta 2 comes out :(

So if the game is fun for 8 to 12 years old then i will probably translate Elemental for them to Dutch. If it is possible to localize. The quality of a localization will be higher if done by fans then by official translators who do not understand what they are translating. Less literal more focussed on creating a fun/workable transl
But if you don't have a problem with a translated game, lucky for you. I guess it also depends a lot on the game and who translated it...
That's the point I was trying to give. In my experience I can't remember of really poor translated game which had major translation errors.

I have to say that I don't agree -- at least when it comes to UI and Italian language. Yes, maybe some typos here and there, but I think that the average quality was pretty good.
Quoting Lorthirk, reply 3 [...] but I always thought that text-intensive games (strategics, rpgs, etc.) should be localized at least for the interface itself: reading windows and windows in your local language is almost always better than reading in a foreign, even if known, language.I'm trying to think of an instance where this is true, but I'm drawing a blank.
...What can I say? I like to read things in Italian rather t
Given that more people wind up complaining about the quality of translations than actually asking for them, it's hard to say. International publishers tend to be sticklers about the distribution of the localized files as well if they do it so it's impossible to say if the North America/Impulse release will even include those if we have them done. None of that stuff has been pinned down at this early point.
I admit I don't
Frogboy, Will Beta 1Z be avaiilable to everyone who preordered (even me that I placed the order this morning)? I think it should, but since I'm new here a word from above would be awesome :)
Hello all... first message for me, just preorder Elemental and can't wait to get my hands on the beta. While I wait... Is there some official voice on the languages that will be shipped with the game (both the boxed and digital download edition)?
