No, champions appears on the map and you can hire them, sovereigns are ... sovereigns. With a champion editor we could create champions at a certain level that would randomly appear on the map. I would make fun and create champions trying to reproduce my friends or some mythical characters. There is certainly a way to do it by playing with the files (XML), but a tool would help. Frank

Samething when an outpost upgrade have been built. The city goes idle without a notification on the screen right side.
At the minimum, the diplomacy bonus for the opponents kingdoms / empires of the same side should be increased. Frank
Good read! This type of game, where everybody declare war at the same time, happens to me all the time even at normal difficulty. It's even worst when you play againts Yithril and they start throwing armies of juggernauts at you when you are still wearing leather stuff. Diplomacy needs serious balancing. Frank
I captured a Magnar city this afternoon, it had 0 grain, 0 material and 0 essence !!! Also, I had my sovereign in another Magnar city, just captured, with its complete army, and ONE Magnar unit (pikemen) attacked the city alone!!! I think they were in a hurry to end their lives :-) Frank

Here is a simple idea that be kind of nice. When the village levels up to level 2, the town center tile should upgrade to something in line we the specialization choice. So : Fortress : the tile should represnt a keep. When at level 3, a castle, etc. up to level 5 with a full flege citadel. I was stuck in a tactical battle when my champion casted Fireball. By the time I was able to do it, there was no valid target since all the units were engaged in close mele combat. The game did not permit to cast it if it touches one of my units, or to cast it on an empty space or cancel the cast ... I was stuck there. To get out of this situation I had to press on the Auto-Resolve button. Frank
