Krandir is north of the fortress where you fought the drake....... just a bit north of that it's just a burnt out ruin (sp?) now....i don't know if you missed a part of the story or not anyway that's where Krandir is (was) and it's just south of where south east of where the guy who needs his tome is. Hope this helps.

I am having the same trouble with the warn Markinn quest too, the other 2 citys not a problem but nothing from Markinn....even tried going their with a different hero. So i'm kinda stuck at this point :(
