Well I guess Stardock's best game is a 4.0. Such an amazing developer [e digicons]B)[/e]

One of my friends recently sent me a link to 1up's review of elemental and I thought I should share it on here, http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3181116 The comments also say that Stardock is offering refunds for people, can someone comment on whether or not this is true? It would be nice to get back the money I spent on this game. It just feels like a game that is r

Is this the cloth map view from ingame? If it is does this mean we can add names and stuff to place on the map?
Just experienced it, dxdiag: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/DxDiag.txt Debug: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/debug%20NEW%205.err Zip File: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/Elemental0_98-2010-08-07T15-04-45-571.zip Saved Game - Crashed at 3:04 saved at 3:00: <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358
The game suffers a lot of crashes for me, and I use nvidia with win 7 64bit.
Crash upon loading save game, http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/debug%20NEW%204.err Also dx diag http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/DxDiag.txt I managed to avoid a lot of the early crashes by constantly reloading, but once I reached a point the game just won't load the save anymore.
This time the game just refused to let me click the next turn button. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/debug%20NEW%202.err Crash after minimizing and then maximizing, http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/debug%20NEW%203.err
[quote who="asadex" reply="1" id="2705959"]I would prefer a Total War game style, with a decent HUD and with realistic units (not a Might and Magic clone). I'm afraid that this is not what we will see. I gave a look at the first battle images given by developers some months ago, and i compared with the tactical battle i'm playng now in the beta: it seems two diffrent games, i bought this game only because of the first screenshots i've seen months ago, i made a wrong.<br
My bad, I was being stupid. First ZIP - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/Elemental0_803-2010-06-19T18-29-39-191.zip Here is the debug from the last crash and zip http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/debug%20NEW.err http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8399358/Elemental0_804-2010-06-26T11-52-07-325.zip
I started the game, found some gold, recruited a scribe, got a quest, went to kill rats, clicked on cave with rats and game crashes. Another game I managed to get some 60 turns in, but the game crashed after I hit the end turn button rapidly. Both times there was no zip file or debug file in the elemental folder.
So you can't set spawn locations right now, right?

I will call this a crash since the game becomes unplayable at this point. I was playing an online match against an AI when I built Harlemon's Library ( I don't remember the name of the library, but it was something like that, and it took up four tiles). As soon as I clicked a spot to build it the library building icon was deselected and nothing was responsive anymore. I waited around 5 minutes and then I got a message that reconnection was being attempted. <p
Similar problem here. I ordered the game under one email address using paypal. Then I registered the game on my impulse using a different email. "Impulse account does not have access to this title. If you have a serial number, please register it in Impulse." This same message pops up for me even though I have the game registered on my account.
As long as the economic system is fun, yet still has depth. This seems fine. Not sure what you mean by this, but if you're talking about the one where you pick techs and then you pick from a set of random technologies I enjoy that...as long as you can balance it out. I don't like the buying spell spells approach because if people are waiting for later techs then they might not get early ones, preventing them from using

There's a preview up for elemental at IGN. http://pc.ign.com/articles/107/1079424p1.html
So does this use points like live or a leveling type of system like trophies for playstation for achievements?
