Ah, sorry, that's not what I ment Both GC2 and WoM have the benifit of catering to a very creative group of players, with GC2 having the extra benifit of having some additional features that push immersion (random events is the big one in my eyes) and...you know...being stable WoM, however

Won't miss it.

If there's some compatibility issue, you might just want to try running it windowed. Regarding polish, that's really too subjective for me to get in. You'll never get a TBS game like this to be as polished as say Starcraft 2 or what have you. It's the price we pa
No interest in multiplayer in any turn based game.

I very much like H2's classic stylized fantasy, as it really suits the game, as it doesn't have to be "realistic" or 3D for me, personally. Best regards, Steven.

HOMM II
Thanks for this info Steven, I just recently picked up HoMM2

I am not registered on Qt3, but as I heard the Qt3 community is "mature enough", so this sounds weird...
I've been a registered member at Qt3 for many years and there are lots of bright, knowledgeable and mature gaming people from inside and outside the games industry who post there. But the Elemental thread IMO is a lot less "mature" overall and more disrespectful to each other than what I'm used to rea
Well Brad with this journal update you are making it hard to stick to my guns about not purchasing Elemental till version 1.1 hits. But I have to say I'm enjoying the temptation [e digicons][/e] .

It looks interesting, hard to tell what it's all about, like you said in your post Mivo, the screen shots look really good and others not so much. Really interested to hear what you think about it overall.
I have all three games, but if they release it on Impulse or GamersGate, then I'll buy AoW:SM for a second time -- in the vain hope to encourage the publisher to finance a sequel. Naive, perhaps, but the AoW series is one of my favourites and there's little else I can do to help the chances of a continuation. Steam is better than no digital release, but yes, I'd definitely prefer Impulse or GamersGate. Edit: Just saw the post abo
I passed on this game when it first came out because of how full of bugs it was, but I saw the game on the shelf of a computer shop I go to the other day. It's looking like the new Elemental needs a little bit more time in the oven before I pick it up, so maybe I'll take your advice Tormy and pick ToEE up then patch it all up. Lo
I was going to buy the game just after it released but got scared off by a lot of my gaming friends at Qto3 and a few other forums I go to, so I've held off to see where all this is going. I have to say reading Brad's latest post(A quick note from Brad)hit me as being very honest and straight, that he stands by his game BUT also sees the problems that many people are having with it. That's important to me as so many devs/pubs of other games I've played with problems simply don't care
Thanks for the link, seeing this video+pics I can now see this game hitting it's release date, it really does look like a full game already.
Was a huge fan of Lords of Magic:SE, played that game for a long time even with the RTS tactical side.

Aurum is my favorite here, but of the two in the running Gildar is much better, doesen't sound like a medical condition.
