Problem with dropdown menus in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

I've been modifying a DXTheme (Sputnik) that has Object Controllers that are tied to menus (trays) which contain icons that act as shortcuts). (i.e. the "Graphics" button is clicked, which opens a tray containing various shortcut icons). Once an icon is clicked, the program launches and the tray/menu closes. However, if I then again click on the graphics button, the tray will open but all the icons are now gone. If I restart DX, they will return, but again disappear after the first icon

Tooltips in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

Is there any way to reduce the time it takes for tooltips to appear after the mouse hovers above an icon? (Some of my DX objects aren't always obvious as to what they control. I've added "tooltips" in the properties summary page, but I'd like them to pop up more quickly. I suspect there is some registry tweak, but I can't find any references to tootips there...) I'm thinking of upgrading to a notebook with a 17" 1440 x 900 display. Will DesktopX, Object bar, etc. work with this sort of display? (I'm not advanced enough to create my own stuff, so I rely on downloading the creations of others.) I'm enjoying futzing with Object Desktop...just curious if this new computer would hinder my new hobby...

DXplayer in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

Most of the DX themes I've downloaded include media players that evidentally use Dxplayer. If I click on the play button (with a CD in my computer), nothings happens. Is there some other maneuver I have to perform to get the DXplayer to work? Since these themes already have all the buttons and their associated functions set, I don't think that's the problem. Hey Doreen, Thanks for the help. But alas, I still must be missing something... (FYI The Dasboard/WisBar skins I downloaded are 808 and agua which both have wisbar components). When I enter WisBar Settings > Images, is it the "show background image" setting I need to point to the Dasboard/Skins folder? Hi, I've been using Dashboard and GigaBar. But after reading about the combo skins avaible for WisBar and Dashboard, I've uninstalled Gigabar and installed WisBar. I've downloaded a couple Dashboard Skins that are supposed to also have skins for WisBar. However, when I select the Dashboard skin, it does not change the Wisbar skin. How do I change the skin on WisBar? Thanks!
