Well i have this feeling too. My army spend his time to miss and when they hit it's for a very low damage. In the beta (i stoped a bit after 0.98) i didn't happened.
What about the unit editor ? I don't see it in the list.
Python API would have been the best feature of FE. Really. Modder can do great job if you give their enough tools. Civ and Elder scrool are the best exemple. King bounty have LUA script and it's work great. I hope you'll think again about it after release.
What happened to regeneration show the difference between Mom and FE. In Mom, all spell, ability and capacity were great, have powerfull effect and utility. In FE, everything is weak and marginal. I could understand in a multiplayer game (like starcraft 2 ), it's important to equalize ability and spell effect to prevent them to umbalance the game. But in a solo game ? Seriously you remove all the fun. For regeneration : -in Mom --> High regeneration in co
Any news about API for modder ? Can we hope for that after release ?

[/quote] No they not. You talk about horse or pony ? They move fast and should give even a greater move bonus. Instead of wanting nerf for everything in this game, you should ask for boosting weak element.
I agree, the magic system need lot of work.
What is the limit of modding in FE ? Can we add a casting skill like in Mom ?
Personnaly, i'll prefer stardock drop these professions and adopt a system similar to master of magic. Actually our choices are very limited, and they don't really change the way a game is played.
I agree on all your points. And i'll add heroes à la MoM. Everything in Elemental is too generic.
