Well they did have some missiles on there at one point, but then all the AI's were going for heavy point-defence because everyone but me was using just missiles, so I went with mass drivers and blew them all out of the water.

Sort of, but my ships all follow a similar design philosophy, angled plating to deflect impacts, the fancy heat diffusion panels in the back and so forth, so they don't look that different from each other, I'm afraid.
