True, 'nurse' sounds a lot better... It just so happens there's a spare uniform... I'll tell you one thing I do miss... things like that and the people here in this thread. I've had a feeling this thread would last
Elfkura
I can't remember how long I've been away, but I have a feeling I will continue to be away. This semester is coming to an end. With two papers, one journal, one portfolio, one manuscript, and one quiz due at the end of this week, I'm slowly becoming addicted to headache medication... which is not good. But the journey isn't over. I've learned so much, got a whole new perspective, haven't had drama in my life for about two years now... I can't s
Yes, I do have a gmail account. My opinion of gmail is that I'm rather impressed by what google has managed to create, and it may start a new standard of how email will be handled in the future. If you would, please, there is already a thread somewhere on the main page of the msgboard that talks aout gmail. It's fine to just post your opinion and interest with everyone else
So, ladies and gentlemen... I've got a question for you. Got any ideas for a couple to enjoy a special evening or weekend together? I've never been romantic, so I don't know if that's my thing... so I was hoping for some ideas
This looks interesting. It's annoying since no one here can read simplified Chinese. I can read traditional, but not simplified. I don't have any software that'll allow me to type it either. So the main way to contact them seems to be out. In regards to all the points made just remember this: You as an artist can often think about what you want to tolerate and believe in. A lot of people demand to have the final say simply because it gives them the feel of power, of control. Not many pe
Ahh! So UH was known as Cougar High. Well, it certainly has grown. They've just recently expanded the library (work still in progress), with a new addition of extremely large recreation center on campus (they were planning to use it for the Olympics but the Olympics didn't come through), and now you need a bike just to be able to make it to classes on time because the campus is so large
I actually haven't found Halo, but I started this thread because I want to see what other people may have liked so I can try it out And thanks to Craig (I think) for giving me the idea. I didn't want to steal his thread
I like Opera. I hold down my right mouse button, and slide my mouse to the left to indicate I want to go back. I like that a lot
The only time I've ever had problems with back buttons not will to take me back was during those pages that load itself into another page. I find those rather annoying, cause I usually end up having to push my back button many times. Then I end up a few pages past where I wanted to go... annoying, isn't it?
I'm not sure what version of IE you have. On my IE window, right next to the "back" button is a small drop down arrow. If you click that, you can the page you want to go back to. That'll save you from clicking that button one too many times I hope that helps.
Montrose... lol. Yeah, know the place. Isn't somewhere I want to walk down in the middle of anytime I live on campus at UH.
My favorite xbox games so far are: Dynasty Warriors 4 Project Gotham Racing 2 Soul Calibur II
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I'm the infamous Elfkura (everyone here has a horror story about me, just ask around) I currently live in Houston, TX. I'm somewhere between 21 and 70.
Well, quite frankly, this is a hard place to keep up with, especially when I'm not around the last year. So, every five or so days, I'll come back, scan it for any vital information, and relocate my check point to the most recent post... so yeah, I missed quite a bit However, I'm currently working on a new story with a friend of mine, so my attention has been pretty divided <img src="http://images.
feline's into bondage... huh... *evil grin*
Cougar High? Where's Cougar High?
So you submitted a wallpaper, did it get approved through the moderation?
I'm doing all right. My school work has picked up a huge pace and I'm in summer class right now. I've been around in one or two other posts, but I haven't gotten myself back to the swing of posting. I guess I'm slowly gathering my courage to face the public once again, so I've avoided all debates really (cept for that one post on computer parts) and just offer answers to questions I can answer. I think my boyfriend would frown on me for coming back to post again (The overly-large role W
Old Crab, whereabouts in Texas are you?
and as far as onboard sound goes. I think my onboard sound is actually even better than some of the sound cards out there. I got a nice onboard sound feature. It all depends on your motherboard. Sound is only as good as your speakers. Remember, this is a computer built to your needs, not something so overblown that it's going to cost you a pretty penny. You don't need -the best- computer out there, just something that'll work. As far as the site complaining about nvidia, there
Video card.... nividia fx5950 ultra 256 meg is the minimum i would go with ..me id go with a nividia 6800 ultra..it smokes ...but the price is hefty ... that's not true. 128mb nvidia geforce fx5900 is good enough for just about anything game related. I've been able to play games gamers couldn't play on their computers, and I'm not even much of a
ChasUGC, as long as you buy nvidia cards from Verto or BFG, they''ve got great tech support. I''ve never had a problem with nvidia. As for ATI, I don''t know where to start [Message Edited]
Nah, there are many people here who can offer better advice. They just haven't shown themselves yet.
1. There are other websites like newegg.com that also have pretty good deals on computer hardware if you''re still looking for some. 2. I''m not sure I''ll vouch for a Soyo motherboard. My bf''s brother bought one a few years ago, and it was having problems close to one year of usage. I prefer MSI motherboards. Personal preference. 3. Make sure you find out what video card they''re talking about. I recommend, personally, the nvidia geforce fx 5900 graphics card ($200 tops). Tha
