OK, now that I did not know. Let me go kill some monsters with my guy and see what happens.

I don't think so; at any rate, all four of the affected heroes aren't using it. More and more, I'm thinking it's a bug. It's like I put too many champions together and got a big penalty, but when I split them up the penalty didn't go away.
Yeah, I thought of that stuff, but in my playing around with it, here's what I discovered: *Every* battle that Bannon and Jortnur fight gives them loads of XP, regardless of what they're fighting. Sometimes it's just 30, sometimes it's 80, but it's always a lot. *Every* battle my sovereign and the heroes that were stacked with him (they're no longer stacked with him, but are now fighting on their own) fight gives them minuscule amounts of XP, regardless
This is my first time playing, and I've been cruising through the scenario for a few hours, having tons of fun. But I've noticed something weird: some of my heroes, like Jortnur the Giant and Bannon Heighsley, get massive XP for winning a battle (last battle, Jortnur got 75xp). Not just them -- their whole army, though not all that much; still, it's enough that Jortnur's army is now full of level 5 and 6 troops. [quote who="Stupidity10" reply="43" id="3149669"]Thanks for patches. Plz fix AI city and Outpost placement + AI sending wild monsters at us. + Training Yard gives +20 to Accuracy of units trained in that city instead of +5 WOW seems like overkill, even 10 would be nice. + Quendar +25% Fire Resistance changed to +50% Fire Resistance and -50% Cold Resistance Also seems like overkill. 25% was nice, you dont need 100% fire resistance to mak
I just bought the game and downloaded the beta last night, so I have no experience with the previous builds. I also haven't played Elemental, so I'm coming to this with total purity of vision (except for my memories of MoM). I haven't finished a game yet -- though I'm having a ton of fun! -- but so far the only thing that's really irritated me is that I can't access the menu from the tactical battle screen. That's not so cool. At least let me
Civ IV has a great random map generator, and some of the mods included even better ones (Fall From Heaven, which most people here probably played, did some great stuff with the Erebus mapscript).
Please tell me that the final text hasn't been entered yet. I suffered a mild attack when I looked at the screenshot for the "Rain of Fire" spell and saw that the text entry has no fewer than six grammatical/syntactic errors in it. I know, it's probably just because I'm an English teacher, but still. Six? In three sentences?
