That's an interesting error..........if you have an HP printer, update the drivers. A more likely cause is an 'un-wanted' process running (as in malware). Look in Taskmgr/ Processes and do a search for anything you can't identify.

Try these: H = 27 V = 27 Icon = 48
Go to 'Edit Account' click on 'Font Manager'
In SDC settings/discussion check all boards ( should be 6). Restart SDC
The only thing worse then censorship is to give in to it. For those people who don't want to see it...... don't look at it!!!!!!!! Get it???????? /me thinks this is a no brainer....but then there are some with no brains.....

China will answer this for you.......if you don't know what she looks like, this is her:
Open WB and click on 'Per Application' and 'add per application setting'. Exclude Winword.exe from being skinned.
Open Iconpackager. In 'Icon and Cursors' under 'Files' click on 'add format'.
Yep...your virginity is intact in spite of my best efforts <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0
Hi China.......
No it was not a stupid question (it actually was more considerate then most)......knock yourself out using them
Make the change in 'StartPanel'. Maybe MS doesn't know the difference between Desktop and start panel ....... [Message Edited]
If you are using just the classic XP then simply (!!) make a new DWORD-Value (in the 'Classic') with the name "{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" & 'Modify' Value "1". Leave everything else alone
Hold on.......
This is because of what you have (and don't have) installed.....leave the 'StartPanel' alone and change 'Classic' to "1"
ahhh....this is where the fun starts...leave 'Classic' alone. Change all 4 entry values to "1"
Dealing with the Registry is sorta' like a rite of passage......at one time or another we all get porked by it BTW: I don't know what you have installed, so you may show both....try just changing 'NewStartPane' first and see what happens..... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bor
...this ain't good !! If you want to lose your 'Registry Virginity' over this then here goes: Only one of those entries will probably show. Using Regedit drill down to the value listed above and change the "0" to a "1" and exit. You will have to re-boot for it to take affect. The safest way to avoid a disaster is : when you get to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons' right click and hit export. Name it whatever you want and sa
I assume he's talking about the running app icon and not the shortcut. He can change the latter but not the former.........
nope........
