You're delusional. The stats speak for themselves. Civ V is one of the most played games on steam.

Thanks for the suggestion of Dominion 3. Loving it so far! Yes, the graphics are terrible, but thank goodness someone took a lesson of the older TBS games and used simultaneous turns with end turn processing. There is no way to have a large multiplayer turn based game without that. I'm really not sure why the industry moved away from that style (Conquest of the New World, Deadlock 1 & 2). Don't get me wrong, with a limited number of players (as in only t
If you can't attack early, there is no point to the early units. In my opinion, if you're getting to the end game units, your opponent is doing it wrong. There is no such thing as a rush. There is such a thing as too little defense, too late.
I am very new to Elemental and have not yet experienced the 3 guys killed 200 enemies problem, but if this is the case, it seems they need to add a "stamina" mechanic, that after so many actions, defense and attack begin to drop. So many turns of "rest" that are not interrupted by damage or action can refresh those troops. Maybe not this exact mechanic, but it is an idea.
I can't find it now so perhaps my mind is just making stuff up, but I could have swore I read somewhere on this forum that if I buy the game now I will get the expansion for free when it comes out. I am about to add Elemental to my cart via Impulse, but I do not see such a statement. Is this true or am I crazy?
Thanks for the replies. Stardock has a history of creating amazing games. It must be really painful that some are so upset with the quality of Elemental. I suppose I will wait until these details are fully flushed out. These guys take a lot of pride in their work, so I have no doubt the end product will be very good.
Hmmm, I have this creeping suspicion I just asked a really dumb question...
Hello all, I have not yet purchased Elemental, but am on the search for a good modern turn-based multiplayer strategy game. Would one of you who enjoy the game be willing to describe how a typical multiplayer match in Elemental plays out? Are turns simultaneous or one-by-one? Do battles happen at the end of everyone's 'end turn' or are turns played out like a real time strategy and once the order is given the battle starts (interrupting other players' turns in the ca
Change the game so that my strategy wins.
Ah, if you haven't played Sins of a Solar Empire or Galactic Civ II (complete) you're missing out!
