As you can see in the image, after buying/selling some stuff the encumbrance bar is not recalculated. I recall to have also used the browse arrows to select another person in my squad.

Reply to FemmeFatale: So after I just posted gamespot's score (some 15 minutes ago), 3 other votes got in bringing a score of 9.0 (12 votes) down to 7.4 (15 votes). I can only conclude that you just filled in very low scores from 3 mailadresses. You must be very sad and miserable.
Sigh, there are only a few votes... Look at Gamespot, user score is at 9.0! I predict metacritic score will be at around 8.6 eventually.
Hi all, I've been reading the forums and journals since War of Magic. I've never played a beta. But I definitely am going to buy Fallen Enchantress the moment I can. I can't wait to start playing the finished game. Thanks for all the hard work Stardock. I have a feeling I won't be disappointed. Ten9
Triumph Studios, the game developer of the Age of Wonders series is hiring again. http://www.triumphstudios.com/jobs.php There are several programming and art positions. Rumors are getting stronger and stronger that they are working on Age of Wonders 3. There was a tweet recently that they will announce something soon.

Here is why your game crashes on you (example): You have a city selected. You decide to build an improvement. Game crashes... ...Because in another thread it was looking through all the improvements at that city at that moment... Another example... You're just

Although I'm not expecting miracles, it is still a vital point that I feel fall in the background often when discussing faction differentiation.
I agree also. This is great news! I'm sure that visual distinctness will appeal to a lot of people. And Good/evil alignment, although cliche maybe, will also. I have
How do you plan to overcome the memory problems for all the added models and textures on 32 bit systems? According to Frogboy, that is the main reason why the factions look rather similar. Not trying to be negative btw. , just curious. I really like your initiative.
The game is definitely more fun than WoM, but it's still not reaching MoM-level. The biggest issue to me is that there's still no significant difference between factions and channelers. It's a bit MoO3ish where "realism" is getting in the way of "fun". The backstory establishes that there are only men and fallen, and fallen are men who look funky. Most of the factions differ only in opinion, hairstyle, and skin condition. What they real

Have you tried starting it, after closing internet explorer or Firefox. Sometimes I have to do that...
Let me start by saying that I'm pretty happy with the game so far. Sure it needs to be better balanced, the UI can need a little polish etc. But SD has shown that they will deliver, just give them some time. Why? Because the team probably did not have another choice. They had to release it now. The rest of my post is speculation about why the game was released now. Just by reading the journals, forum posts and connecting the dots, I come to the conclusion that Stardock probably had no
I'm really impressed with what I see. I'm definitely going to buy the game. And thanks for the glow for special places. It just adds a little magic to the map and makes it become more 'alive'. Please leave the green hue around summoned creatures. Why would you want to remove it? I think it's an improvement. Or even better: Give the summoned creatures a green glow/aura around it!
One thing that made Master of Magic so good is that the spell books were so different from one another. Chaos kicked butt in battle, but life had the best army buffs. Earth was a defensive juggernaught, but sorcery could mess with other peoples magic. So far the spell book for Elemental is basically the same exact spell over and over. Electrical damage, Fire damage, earth (blunt) damage. Same spell (dam = int/3), o
I too would like to see more 'subtle spells'. Things like 'mass confusion', 'dominate', 'holy light', 'counter magic', 'darkness', 'seduce', 'strong wind (affects ranged attacks)' come to mind. But I realize that some make it much harder for the AI to attach a value to these spells and to effectively use them. I also agree with the previous po
The problem with diplomacy is that it really needs AI behind it to be meaningful, so it'll probably show up during the beta 3 series. The AI in Elemental is so much better to do than in GalCiv. For instance, I have APIs like pPlayer->GetAreaThreat(x,y,radius) which tells me the combat rating of any threatening units in that area. It's wonderful. I had nothing like that in GalCiv. So I can then write th
I would like to see more races too. I prefer the usual elves, dwarves, orcs and dark elves. It will require not only more work on art, but also a lot more work on balancing. I wonder if this is this the reason for not adding more races.
Hello everyone, What I would like to see in the game is a 'magic glow' around a unit that has magic capabilities or spells cast upon it. The color of the glow could reflect the type of magic. I realize this is a very simple idea, possibly already planned. I really liked that in MoM. It was kind of missing in Age of Wonders. Ten9
