I have the same problem as you KiddKohiba. I have given up trying to upload a screenshot of some skins i am working on, i always get the same error message, 'You have tried to upload an invalid file format!' But there is NOTHING wrong with the format/size of the file/no unusual characters/no spaces/no gremlins/no illegal aliens etc. I hope you resolve this situation as it will also help me! By t

I would like to thank you all for your advice and genuine help with my problem.Sadly we never got to the root of the trouble, i still can't upload a screenshot to this site.A suggestion was made that it might be my browser settings causing the problem, so i tried uploading to SKINBASE org, and the first time i tried it uploaded. Again, thank you all for trying.
Took your advice Zodiaq, waiting for a reply!
Thank you Jafo, did exactly what you suggested, (this is getting to be a real pain!) still no joy, i'm getting the same error message, the file name is correct, the format is correct, perhaps the server doesn't like the colour of the screenshot and is going to turn the worlds missiles on us and start world war three.(Watch out for TERMINATORS everywhere!) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smile
Took your advice, waiting for a reply! Thank you Zodiaq.
Tried everything you all suggested and nothing worked! Even tried UPLOADING as a PNG file,(didn't work.) The server seems to go through the process of uploading, but then returns the same error message over and over again! I dont know what else to try?
Thank you for your help so far, i have tried all your suggestions but none of them seem to work. Same error message every time "You have tried to upload an invalid file format". I thought it might have something to do with my art package, and the jpg format it uses? But i have several different art and photo progs, and have tried them all, with the same result. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/im
Am i missing something? I've tried to UPLOAD a screenshot to Wincustomize, filled in the details, and keep getting an INVALID FILE FORMAT error message. The PREVIEW and SCREENSHOT are JPG files, is this the right format? The UPLOAD page doesn't give you any information as to size of screenshot or preview, and doesn't tell you the format for the screenshot! Please help as i am getting noware fast! > <i
2 and a half years with my first PC,(Win 98.) Then i changed to 98se, and i found out you could tweek the registry! Now i reinstall about every 3 months! The moral of this story is: Never mind the MATRIX, don't enter the REGISTRY! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0
Adam, i have tried to contact Nuvem at: [email protected] and send him the updated section as an attachment, but for some reason the server will not allow the transfer. pjpowell, thanks! The updated BMP is on it's way to you ! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 AL
I couldn't find an update for this anywhere, and like many others it bothered me so much, so i corrected that part of the skin myself in PHOTOPLUS. The problem is i don't know how to upload the corrected section Utilitiestab.bmp to this site, or even if i should ( as i haven't asked permission from the Author. Don't know how to get it?) Any advice would be welcome. <img src="http://imag

Can anyone tell me what has happened to ColorPad ? I can't download it, or access the Home page. I keep getting the message 'Page cannot be found'. I've tried almost every site that lists ColorPad on the WEB,including WINCUSTOMIZE,but they all try to access ColorPad's Home page to download it, and my download manager cannot access the site? Any help would be appreciated very much. > <img src="http://i
