I like the ideas about flanking and more diverse unit abilities but I want to see some option to flee combat. Give me a % chance to lose some % of my units (based on difficulty) so that when my scout gets waylaid by a golem he has at least a shot of fading into a nearby forest. I also think that units that successfully flee combat should be receive some small amount of experience, especially if you at least try to fight it out before pissing yourself and heading for the hills.

First 0.25 fixed my need for a kludge install. W00T! After creating my first city in 0.25 I tried to train a soldier on the first turn. When I hit the train button the screen went black and flashed on and off for about 20-30 seconds while the music continued. Then the music began to stutter and about 10 seconds later the BSOD popped up. Reported to fogbugz: http://fogbugz.stardock.co
I would assume that equipment will be handled more thoroughly later in the beta with the sovereign and heroes/offspring having an equipment screen of some sort.
Use control+u to reveal the entire map and find them. And if they are on an island I would assume that would fall under the bad start locations sticky.
Got a new one same result. After my first village upgraded to lvl 3 when i try to click on the town the igfx driver crashed again. Elemental didn't generate a debug.err only a memory dump. I will try to replicate the bug and get a debug file.
0.24 did me no good. The debug from directly after update: http://pastebin.com/m1b50b5d9 The debug after the workaround with the warfare tech crash: http://pastebin.com/m1b069a0 Game still only loads if the DXAtlasWin.exe is not in my game folder and the program data\....\screens folder is empty. I am beginning to think that the DXAtlasWin.exe is corrupted from Spybot killing it but
The only time I've noticed is when I research warfare. Civilization and agriculture don't cause any strangeness. I'm just not meant to have anything above basic guards. I am going to try the update tonight and see where that gets me (if I remember to kill Spybot first this time).
There are a few lengthy disclaimers to this crash: 1. I know that the chipset graphics controller I am using is not supported. Onboard graphics suck. I get it. However the graphics do support Pixel shader 2.0 and I read somewhere that thats all that was needed even if they didn't guarantee it. If you decided to disregard the rest of the post from this point and tell me to go cry in a corner until I get big boy graphics thats your right. 2. To get the game to run involves some
I had assumed this was intentional as it consistently docks 0.3 every level up. Parriden is the only faction I've played, I've always been a tech hound.
I had this crash after Spybot SD resident killed the DXAtlasWin.exe file but deleting that file from the main game folder and then pasting it back in when the menu shows up gets me into the game
