The install fails. I have have a lot of issues overall with v7 and Impulse. I realize Impulse is all about 'hiding' your application behind the install but it is a huge pain to use and is one more point of failure for your product. At the very least you should offer your customers the option to download the install outside of Impulse rather than force them to use it.
When I exectute a search in Copernic and it returns the results the window begins to shrink until it goes away.. it starts in the bottom right hand corner and slides upward like the window is being resized until it goes away.. anyone else verify this behavior? using wb 6 on vista
It is avail on Impulse ... not on SD Central
If you look at the thread over on MS forum I linked to in the first post - it is a problem w/ custom visual styles as well.
Correct - it went RC1 last week... that means that usually there is a 30 day window until it goes live. More folks will be installing it going forward, if I were Stardock, I would look into this problem, rather then go back to ie7, I disabled Windowblinds until there is a fix. This did not happen with IE 8 Beta 2, just started with RC1.
With IE 8 RC1 - I am getting very small text boxes, buttons and other items ... see this thread from samples. http://lenos.us/ie8bug1.jpg http://lenos.us/ie8bug2.jpg http://lenos.us/ie8bug3.jpg
