I think even something as subtle as los for archers would add more flavor. Though I'm not complaining, the feel of combat gets more satisfying with each version. The early battles before you get good weapons and higher levels are tending to be challengeing.
Are we going to see terrain in combat be actually effective,(as in blocking line of sight, adjustments for cover, slowing movement), and will we see city walls or forts lead to seige warfare (given the seige engines in the game), or is this beyond the scope of Fallen Enchantress?
[.77] Bug When attacking any army that contains Csilla it appears that his casting of mass curse freezes the combat. Csilla always seems to have the initiative.
Should these 1.1? betas be upgraded one on top of the other or are they complete patches which require a clean load of the game? Also in my latest game the picture representing my soveriegns male offspring are definately female, while the combat figures are correct.
Has anyone considered that maybe the original combat system that they had come up with was either just plain bad, or no fun at all?
How is it realistic to send out your units in a we go system with by nature a limited number of options for the AI, can you really program a unit to think for itself. Really how many games has the AI been a really tough opponent(without cheating)? I spend all the time and effort to craft my kingdom and my military to entrust their defense to a limited computer entity deciding how to carry out an attack. My preference is knowing that I have enough control to accomplish what I wa
