I've been having this problem since 1.09 I think. I put down the game for a long time, and noticed today there was a new 1.2 patch. I got it, and im still getting the stupid problem. Basically, i get to the main menu, and I can't click on most of the menus. Its just unresponsive. I can get into the options, and change some options, but when i try to exit, I can't due to the problem. Haven't been able to play a game in a long time :P
