I think we have no reviews yet because they loaded up the game and thought "bloody hell, we're actually gonna have to play this one!" Games like Diablo 3, Call of Duty 24, Crysis 6 and WoW expansion number 637 they've seen it all before, so they can get away with a quick 5 minutes of play or even just watch a trailer before awarding it 10 out of 10. Fallen Enchantress might take some time. No of course i have n

I agree. Not sure exactly how many injuries a Champion can receive before they become worse than useless, but having the fear of death would make the battles much more tense.

Metacritic user reviews are rather infamous because they're so easy to "review bomb" with unreasonably low scores which drag down the average. In some cases (for instance, Diablo 3), you'll have people registering dozens of times just to push a score down as low as possible. Rare cases like D3 or Dragon Age 2 deserve it No, I don
Thank you for the kind words. I'd be hard pressed to think of Fallen Enchantress at the same level as XCOM, Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2, Shogun 2, Diablo 3, Dishonored and many of the other excellent games that have come out this year. I'm glad you guys are liking it so much.
Thinking of Diablo 3 I feel profound sadness. I mean, they aren't even 'dumbing down' for consoles, but they're still&
Just wanted to post a quick thread to wish you all good luck with your new game, Fallen Enchantress! [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] I've followed your progress here for a long time, prior to the release of War of Magic and onto the announcement of Fallen Enchantress - I can't believe the release day is finally here. I actually feel nervous because I want this game to do well. I know I haven't posted before but i've been here on t

I think it is ready for release. It's quite clear while playing it to see the care and attention to detail the developer has put into this game. It is a PC-only game too (an increasingly rare breed), which for me instantly makes it just that little bit more special. ? XCOM with it's small maps and lack of options. Skyrim with it's LOD's and 'interface'. Dishonored with it's lower than low res textures. I give

You can use ctrl+n right at the start of the game, just after the map is generated. If you then hit ctrl+n the game will generate a new map for you and thus a new starting location. You can do this till you're happy with your starting location. I think it's a nice feature, but I never us
I nver use ctrl+n. It's just making the game easier for yourself, why would one want that? I like the challenge of a not so optimal starting location.
Sorry but could someone explain to me what CTRL+N does or when you use it? Thanks! And great video BTW. I'm really looking forward to the final release - I've never played WoM but I recently pre-purchase
