Splendid idea! Tactical combat needs LOTS more work to be acceptable though. For example, bonus to to attacking flanks, morale of units, and escaping.

I have now updated to 0.77. Could you implement lower delay for edge scrolling? The edge scrolling in Civ4 is perfect.

Side scrolling is not implemented in the version I am playing, which I downloaded on Saturday.

Short answer is no. This game was thrown out the door in a pre-beta state of development. I made the mistake of purchasing it on release day. Serves me right for believing the hype. The gameplay could be compared to having carnel knowledge of a dead sheep.
