Even in FE, more than one Arena could be generated. However, only one Arena quest could be completed per game; as soon as one was done, the others disappeared from the map. This is probably still the case in LH, though I haven't even seen the Arena yet.

The problem is that the skill trees have too many redundant choices. The more subtle and endemic problem is that leveling and other events aren't entertaining. With over 200 hours of playing in this beta so far, and countless time spent reading every thread on these forums, these three sentenc
Human players are too good. Please nerf or remove them. ^What all the cries for nerfing boil down to, in my mind.
When I can get more than one hero around level 20 in a game that is overflowing with monsters (as in dense monsters, above average wildlands, more frequent random events), without resorting to cheap tactics like lair farming or quest map spamming, I will be happy. As it is, I can beat the game without a single hero breaking past the mid-teens. That is not legendary. At all.

I do play not to lose, but I mostly play to enjoy the content. I play the game like half-rpg, which means my heroes and sovereign are more important than the AI opponents to me. Quests, wandering monsters, and wildlands are are more my obstacles than killing AIs. In fact, this would be my ideal mode. <a href="https://fo
It's not true that all heroes are useless. A lvl 5 commander who specializes in unrest is useful, as is a high-level commander who specializes in troops and can get +init.
I think it's rather telling that the only champion you cite as being useful is the commander, who specializes in making your empire and army better. Yes, summoners are also very useful now, but they're able to conjure up an army for themselv
But is it feasible? I'm not sure it's possible to restrict a strategic spell to only enemy units in the neighboring tiles on the strategic map.
In FE, Kraxis' city purchase ability was limited by range, so it should theoretically be possible to make catapults have a strategic attack limited by range. It would be amazing if this idea was to get implemented.
I do wish Berserk would disable spellcasting, like the description says. My trogs are way too fond of casting Candlecloak and Burning Blade at the start of battle, instead of running ahead and smashing things in the face.
I noticed this with summon skeleton, but haven't played far enough as an empire mage to see summon skeletal horde. I'm all right with this exploit working on a single skeleton, but didn't know that skeletal horde cost no mana as well.

Noticing this as well. I didn't even realize that was due to the new spellbook memory feature until I read this post.
According to the screenshot, Air 2 has not yet been selected as a trait. If it had, the big line from 1 to 2 would be blue, instead of blank. If you still think that's not the case, then upload the save.
The cave quest doesn't give XP or Fame for completion of the quest. Nor does the Artic Wolf Cloak quest
In that case, I think the Quest Complete! screen shouldn't show up for those quests, or at least shouldn't show the xp/fame portion of the screen. I like the idea, but seeing a big screen highlight a nonexistent reward is kind of a bummer, and confusing as well.
Just got the same screen at the end of the random event "Bacco the Beggar". Not sure if completing that gave xp before; if it did not, then the quest complete screen shouldn't pop up and confuse players.
Yep, i think the path of the commander is overpowered and boring, because as soon as a commander is in an army the unit stats are unbalanced and the commander is not even using an active ability. The commander bonuses should be active abilities with a duration of 1 turn and a cooldown of 3 turns. During one turn the commander could increase the accuracy of the army by 25 and during another turn he could increase the spell resist
I saw this bug in my game last night.
The spell was never intended to work. When the quest was first introduced, this was actually pointed out in the quest itself, and the wizard gave you the cloak as way of apologizing for the bad spell. However, the way the quest works now, there's nothing really telling you that the spell you get is meant to not work.
My issue with removing it is all the extra work it creates.. which is time and effort that could have gone towards other things, like new stuff, fixing bugs etc. If removing it is clearly making the game "better" then the effort is worth it, but i'm not convinced that is the case.
Removing encumbrance has made troop design more straightforward, and hero equipment easier to figure out.
Yeah, I think what they have done is got their EASY all tangled up with their SUICIDE-DEADLY-IMPOSSIBLE difficulty.
Happened during the FE beta, too. Problem is, most testers never play the lower difficulty levels, so they end up being way out of whack with what they should be. That's why threads like this are important; casual/new players exist too, and the worst thing SD could do is have an AI that's so
It's strange how expensive those guys are, considering that by the time you can get them you're already building vastly superior forces of your own for less. I think the knights and mercs would be all right with a massive buff (6-man unit, 4 accessories and high-end mundane weapon) if you're gonna pay obscene amounts of money to keep them. Balance-wise, it'd be smarter to eliminate their upkeep, but what kind of mercenary fights for free? Instead, make them w
There's not really a good way to balance the blood trait for both early game and end game. +10/+10 is basically an I win bonus in the start of the game, when you can't have more than 4 units in an army anyway, but the current bonus becomes irrelevant by the end game. What if the bonus scaled per unit in the army? Say it starts at +8/+8 for a single unit, then goes down by 1/1 per extra unit in the stack, until there's no bonus for a full 9-man army? Not sur

I've noticed what you're talking about, though from what I've seen it seems more like the targeting is too sensitive to not being in the right area, usually because of terrain in the way. IMO it's just that the starting camera angles are terrible for actually targeting anything rather than an issue with targeting itself.
I decided to play my current game on easy/easy, and though I haven't officially made contact with any of the 7 AIs yet, I did notice that Altar conquered the Shroud city before turn 50. Surprising, since on challenging/challenging the AI took over 150 turns to start to truly expand. This should be interesting.
