possibly but i dont have much interest in games anymore, not many things that I find that fill a gap in my collection. bought kingdoms of amalur on release and liked it, bought ME3 and was greatly disappointed. so I'm rather put off new games atm and rebellion and farcry 3 are just as disappointing. It's all leaving a bitter taste in my mouth quite honestly.
Wait, so you were willing to download Orign for a

http://steamcommunity.com/id/R3DT1D3/screenshot/560938460031987771 Blue had the arctic planet originally but I cleared it out. Then Green's culture started spreading from it before red colonized it and eventually neutralized that terran planet and moon. It even threatened the asteroid later in the game. Green was at least 6 phase lanes of other culture away and as you can see he has no

That's just it. I brought a whole capital fleet and titan over to push the culture back and all 12 of them plus the titan could not push back the neutral culture output of the loyalist advent player. Literally the only way to push it back was to use the deliverance engine. I consider it broken that it takes an endgame super weapon to colonize any planets after a loyalist advent has that research done and that TEC cannot colonize any neutral planets outside the

Ok so I had a very strange situation occur in the last comp stomp I played. I'll try to break it down by color and faction to keep it simple. I am rebel advent and so is my ally Red. Red is having fun doing what the AI does best right now spamming caps and getting a Titan out. Problem is, blue who is a TEC loyalist has spread culture and taken bases very close to red. Red loses some planets to culture including his starting Terran planet (which had his only ca

I can't imagine playing without edge scrolling to be honest.
With the way the game zooms to the cursor, edge scrolling is pretty unnecessary.

Like Mr. Haze said, when a game uses Steamworks, it requires Steam to play. It does sadden me though when people get so emotionally involved in what software they use to launch a game though. It's silly to me that software I may write someday will not be liked because of the brand name in front rather than it's own merits.
I never rly had this problem with the AI it has always attack me with large numbers Kodiaks carriers and cap and now and again their own titan. and using just caps with the titan is not a bad strategy i do it all the time plus i back them up with carriers
Having only caps is a terrible strategy. Until they get a Titan with them (which takes the AI ages), you can literally roll them with any fleet you want for the first
In diplomacy we have a nice balance for a 2v1 situation, the hardest thing to balance for in this game. In diplomacy a skilled player can actually hold on if they get in the suicide spot, or at least survive with enough relevance in the game to still have fun. With the addition of titans, the game becomes EVEN MORE centered around the economic player(because of the high cost of titans). The problem is that the economic player is randomly chos

I lost a few capital ships in gravity well. Same thing where I could select them in the info card/empire tree but they weren't visible where the game thought they were and I couldn't give them orders.

I started a new game with what you said in mind and it turned out a bit better. It seems like starting with the -5 I think for being the opposite faction is just too much to overcome in getting your rating of another faction high enough for trade. I was just unlucky enough to choose the opposite of all three of the AI's in my first game. So the current game I am playing, I have a few that I've gotten ceasefire with and one is even reciprocating envoys and

So I played a long game of Rebellion, against AI, yesterday after having exclusively played Sins so I missed all of the Sins: Diplomacy changes. So I've slowly been figuring out how to make other empires like me but I can't figure out how to get my own rating of them up to even positive levels. It seems like I'm at the mercy of the AI doing my missions and sending envoys. I have the other empire's rating of me at around 10 but that doe
