If they don't honor people who already pre-ordered, do they really want us to cancel and then re-up to get the discount? I'm not going to because I had a coupon and the value difference isn't worth the time but it seems a little messed up for people who bought at full price.

It's only great so long as you're playing against an AI, which can be stopped by a few starbases early on. If you played against a real players on a decent sized map, they would just overrun you because you can't possibly defend AND develop your planets that well and the neutral ships aren't going to help much.
As mentioned, Vasari are not playable in this phase of the Beta thus, neither you or the AI could choose them. The player setup thing is just placeholder until Vasari are added in and should work like previous Sins.
Do you want to slow it down to manage things easier or just to watch battles play out slower? For managements, you can just reduce resource rate, research, etc to prevent being overwhelmed and then just speed it up when you have a handle on things. For viewing stuff like combat slower, I don't think you can within the constraints of the game (unless some modder has a way to slow down animations and whatnot).

He was saying that if you take a Saviour and use it for it's intended utility (starbase construction,) you shouldn't get it back because it's expensive and you already used it. So if I take let's say, a Guardian, quite an expensive cruiser, into combat, and use it for it's intended utility (abilities, perhaps even sacrificing to feed the Eradica,) does that me
No, you're AFFIRMING that it is absolutely a bug, based on the description because it does not mention Talion saviors specifically.
It does not mention anything specifically. They could have copied the explicitness of Reanimation but they didn't. You disagree that it's logical to assume that because they intentionally left a loophole on the description and that this is a very odd case that it's u
Quoting R3DT1D3, reply 15The research description of Return of the Fallen is: "The power of the purified unity causes some ships to be revived from time to time." It does NOT mention frigates/cruisers like Reanimation does thus it IS a bug as it is a likely an unintended target for the ability. Actually, by that description of the ability, there's absolutely nothing wrong about it reviving a Talion. It does n
I'd hate to point this out to you but that is not my logic of thinking its merely if this was a TEC tech no one would be complaining it is not to strong and it is something you are going to have to deal with. It is not a bug regardless of what you think. It is doing what it is supposed to do and that is how it is regardless of if you think it is fair or over the line or not. The ability clearly says it revives Frigates/Cruisers, what it
It is NOT a bug. That is the point red. The ability is doing what it says it does. It has a 10 percent chance to revive a frigate/cruiser. What is a Talion a cruiser. So no it is not jealousy that is like me saying you are a TEC player afraid of the Advent getting something good.
*sigh, I play random and I was pointing out the lack of logic behind your thinking. X being good right now is not justification
I think his main point is there isnt really anything to be achieved by doing this achievement. I agree honestly:p
That can be said for any achievements in the history of achievements. Some are just more obvious about being time sinks than others.
If the other player(s) don't take advantage of the time it takes to rebuild a titan then it's their fault not the game's. That's time you can reinforce, repair, conquer, and farm XP in addition to the huge XP payout a higher level titan gives.
How will it be to powerful a 10% chance to bring back a Talion. starbases are not even that powerful(unless you are the TEC, bullshit red button). You people worry about things to much chill. The TEC Tech actually got retardedly good tech and when the advent finally get one it is questioned. Its fine the TEC can build TWO starbases per grav well when upgraded, its time the Advent got some nice things.
This isn&
Frankly the TEC player being able to harmlessly discharge it with their fleet at a safe distance is really not much different from simply being able to prevent Wail from being used at all.
Your arguments are interesting but you're throwing away the fact that the TEC player spent exponentially more researching and building said novalith(s) to counter ONE planet using Wail at a time. There's a HUGE diffe
I think it'd be safe to let them build superweapons AFTER researching the last fleet supply tech. With that requirement (and hopefully fixed AI that builds frigates/cruisers again) you would only see superweapons LATE LATE game and it would prevent the AI from wasting resources on them too early and handicap their economy if they rush for them anyways.
I just like that I like that I get near infinite free scouts due to losing mine and killing the AI's.
Interesting, in my current game I too had several Destroy 5 ships/structures but after that was completed I've gotten more missions as usual and it seems to be working fine in my game. As for the send envoy spam, I usually just would have one envoy short of their total number of planets and whenever they gave me the mission I would just jump one of my envoys from one nearby planet to the other ad naseum. They still gave me some give credits/metal/crystal missions oc
especially if I am to have 2 advent allies?with different identical pacts signed?
Last time I checked you can only have pacts with one player (don't know if you can have one with each faction or just one total) so that situation wouldn't come up.
No it's a bug the ability is to spread culture from the loyalists planets without the need of a broadcast center and i'm pretty sure it's new. I think they implemented this bug by fixing the update bug that their newly colonized planets didn't spread culture for the loyalist.
Not new, happened last patch even with neutral planets. The update only made it work properly for that specific case.
Out of about 3 games I've played since the latest beta patch with about a few dozen different AI, I've only seen one AI continue to build frigates/cruisers after they had capital ships and a titan. Consequently, this AI roflstomped all the other AI near them until it ran into a starbase because it actually had a fleet to back up the capitals.
My issues is more with the fact that pirates cost anything at all to call in. From my experience, by the time I have the ability to call-in pirates, their ships really aren't effective in combat other than raids so forcing the player to spend resources on them just doesn't seem cost effective.
Don't be too disappointed the AI doesn't really seem to care too much when you do take it.
This culture spread does indeed happen on all planets. I made another thread about it spreading from planets I neutralized and then left to colonize later only to discover the passive culture was taking over the whole area.
Isn't "Conquest" just the normal way to win without other victory conditions checked?
