I'm kicking myself since I sat here with the order page open all last week saying to myself, I've gotta place that order... I wish I understood, at least, why there needs to be this kind of cut-off. I've beta tested a lot of games in the past based on the pay now to try it model and I've never seen a cutoff that blocked me. I don't want to sound like I am giving up hope on getting into beta 2 but since it looks unlikely at this point, can someone say when beta 3 will be available?

That is REALLY frustrating. I ONLY reason I pre-ordered was for the beta. I ordered Monday afternoon because I didn't see the small print saying that the beta was closed. Is there any way to still get into the beta? Frogboy mentioned that the pre-orders were remaining open until Monday. Can someone from Stardock PLEASE PLEASE help me out. I really don't want to have to wait until the next beta. I promise to give extremely valuable feedback about the beta. [e
