Game crashed to desktop around turn 40. Dxdiag, crash and core file uploaded to FogBugz Was researching military, and this occurred a couple of turns after I got 'light weapons' unlocked. No building was happening, I was just moving my channeler around.

This crash to desktop occurred while the screen was zoomed in on my sovereign and a spider which was moving in between squares on the grid. I was preparing to take a screenshot when the game crashed, but I had not pressed any keys or moved the mouse in several seconds. This game had two other issues which you may be able to find some evidence of in my core dump: - spider was moving in between tiles, on the gridlines, instead of on the tiles themselves - last s
On two games now, I've explored the whole map and been unable to find the last sovereign. I'm playing with max number of enemies. I believe, but can't confirm, that they might be stuck on an island somewhere off the edge of the main continent. I haven't even seen borders for their city, however, so I really don't know. I suppose I could attach a screenshot of a fully explored map, but I'm not sure how helpful that would be.
While chasing down some spiders, I noticed a spider whose movement was occurring on the grid line between two tiles. Every time he moved, he stopped in between two tiles. As a result, he was not 'reachable'. I tried to get a screenshot, but while trying to remember how to do that, the game crashed to desktop (I'll open a separate report for that with dxdiag, .err and core dump files).
I've also had this issue. Game was scrolling to the West (left), while in the city building screen (adding buildings to city). I suspect it's related to the 'zoom into city' process, as that is the only time I've seen it.
I can also reproduce this problem. I wonder if it's related to using a widescreen resolution? I"m running the game in 1280x912 on a widescreen monitor. DXDIAG: http://pastebin.com/m30680174
I get the same bug with Perriden, at all levels (got to level 4, lost .3 sight each level (for a total of .9).
