Well, if you want to make her feel better, tell her that once, in kidergarten, I crapped my pants, cause I was too scared to use the "public" toilet. It took them a while to figure out who it was too. Strangely enough, no one ever found out about it, except for the teachers that is. Truth be told, I never felt guilty about it tho. I think I repressed that memory until now, lol.

Mmmm...wholesome fat...watching the gut grow...mmm... Face it, everything these days is full of fat. Even supposedly low-fat chocolate milk. It's a conspiracy to makes us complacent through excessive fatness.

Excellent poem mate, another instant classic. I've started writing more and more on the fly lately, though I don't think I'm liking the way most of the newer poems are turning out. Still waiting for my PC to arrive (it's been making its way to Warsaw from Sydney for the past...10 weeks now), most of my unfinished work is on it, it shits me that I have the willingness and the time to go back and finish a few poems but can't for reasons as trivial as thi

Oooh . . . me, too. My first flight ever was on a teeny tiny little plane, and it was so scary. Do you have to fly often? Fortunately, no...it's been 8 years between my last two flights...but the last one, in August, from Sydney back to Warsaw, was a 24 hour nightmare.

Wow, I just stumbled across this post today I feel your pain, there was a time, not long ago, when my blog was in the Top 10 and I was in the Top 25 users list, now I'm languishing in medicority, like a mid-card boxer that people sometimes watch while waiting for the upper card title bout because they're too lazy to change the channel, that is if they're not too preoccupied with gorging

I'm claustrophobic and I'm scared of heights, which is a real pain in the proverbial when I have to fly somewhere. Claustrophobia dictates that I should have a window seat, but the fear of heights...well, you get the picture. I don't think I have any other fears...well, I do detest crowds, but that's a derivative of claustrophobia, at least I think it is. Check out the phobia list if you want to know what other things people are afraid of, some of them

Mack: So you are saying that almost any normal time for you is a bad time to post Yes, I believe that's what I meant, assuming "normal time" refers to U.S. timezones...sorry, it's 11:40pm here, brain running on empty

Changing countries is one thing, but prepare yourself for loneliness that comes with it. Friendships will no longer mean to you what they mean to other people. I've lost many friends over the years, having spent years in the U.S., Canada and later on in Australia. I suppose that's why I'm so close with my parents, they are the only permanent "friends" I've had. Then there are adjustments to different cultures, behaviours, etc. If you make friends quick

Interesting stuff. My dad works for the Polish Foreign Service, currently posted as Consul General in Lviv (in Ukraine, previously as Consul General in Sydney, which explains how I ended up there). This reminds me of all the hoops he had to jump through followed by hearings in front of the Senate Foreign Affairs Comission.

I can't help but wonder how many flame wars are manufactured as part of points-whoring or how many are allowed to continue for that purpose. Having said that, good idea, I never actually knew an article could be taken off the forums, I'll keep it in mind, although I don't recall any flame wars in any of my posts.

Always wanted to smoke, ever since I was young, I have no idea why. No one in my immediate family smoked and when I took it up, neither did my friends. Agreed SSG, I wish I could just drop them too, but I can't put the bastards down. I guess subconciously I don't really want to...yet.

Guess I wasn't the only one wondering what happened to him and his articles. I suppose he left while I was moving and that's why I hadn't noticed it before, but I do recall some tension brewing between him and some other bloggers...that could be a reason. Just speculating though.
