Dang... Long time indeed, buddy! 2, 3 years? Nah... must be more like 5.... Hope you're still doing ok!
2 or 3 sounds about right, truth be told I've lost track of how long it's been, but I'm pretty sure I'd dropped the face off the Earth right around the time I switched my passion from skinning to watercooling and that was in 2009 ;) I'm all good, thanks, we need to catch up sometime :)

Rather than starting a whole new thread, I figured I'd hop on yours ;) Today, the 26th of March, marks my 10 years on Wincustomize. Granted, I haven't been participating much lately, but I still lurk in the shadows ;) Congrats Snowy, it's been a while mate, huh? :) Happy 10th to the both of us and to everyone else who will be celebrating a decade on Wincustomize this year :)

Seven years? Has it been that long. Wow...I can't believe we've been here for so long. Still can't believe you beat me to registering at WC by 5 days ;) Congrats mate...to both of us...and everyone else who's been around WC pretty much since the beginning :)

To be honest, I've found SDC much more accessible than Impulse is. The release is still painfully slow to log on for me, the eye candy is not something I'm too fond of...it does seem visually horribly bloated, an overload of "purdy" if you will. I too would prefer a simple tool to download my apps and be done with it. Not a store, community portal, browser and whatnot else rolled into one. Makes me yearn for them old days a decade ago, when the stripped down, bare-boned component manager was all

To be honest, I've found the earlier WB skins far more innovative than the current crop. I don't think I've had my jaw drop in a very, very long time. I mean, they're all excellent skins, but lack the extra punch that Capsula, Square or Micron had at their time. I think creativity's dipped a lot since those "old" days.

Interfacelift and Vladstudio, Interfacelift purely because they allow me to search via a specific resolution, whereas the system at WC makes finding the right resolution a royal PITA. I occasionally get some from DA as well, but DA's mostly hit and miss. I have to admit that in all my years on WC, I've only ever grabbed a handful of wallpapers from here.

Ah yes...Dangeruss, he kind of picked up where Allen's left off and took WB in a whole new direction. Probably the most influential and immaculate WB skinner at the time. I think his first skins showed up around '99, but pretty sure the best stuff was in 2000 (*cough* WinAqua *cough*) and later (Micron, Winstep...both mindblowing when they came out).

Funny that you should post an article on the same day as I post something new and to make your jaw drop even further...8th of June was the last time we both posted prior to today. How's that for a mental connection, huh? I'm on a permanent hiatus from JU, but just like you, every now and then I pop in to write something. I even had a pretty good spell going two month ago, but wor

Crashes every time I want to access bookmarks, has trouble displaying most pages I regularly visit...seeing as it's a beta, I'm not surprised, but I've grown used to betas that are way more stable and quite more functional. I might use it and discard it as a novelty item, but from what I've seen thus far, it won't stay on my drive for too long.

I hope you will get better soon Jeff. Although we haven't interacted much, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. ~Mack

It's a nice poem mate, I liked it. Poetry however doesn't really resonate with me (even though I write my own), unless it touches something I've experienced. Most of my crap is in one way or another connected with my life (except for things I specifically mark as "fiction"). As far as poetry sites or go, I wouldn't have a clue, I've never submitted my things anywhere but here, and that accounts for at most 10% of what I've written over time.

Looks cool. One thing though, I'd really like my real name *NOT* to show up on my personal page or when someone views my profile. Is there a way to disable this? I don't care much for this invasion of my privacy.

Good luck in 2007 Nic. May it be better than 2006 Shit always happens and things have a way of working out in the end, we're all non the richer but all the wiser. Of course I've forgotten what the point of this comment was supposed to have been, but all the better. Good luck to you, big hug and say hello to Kole for me, looks like you're doing a helluva job <img src="

Was Spain, Portugal, Switzerland laid waste in World War II? And Japan was totally brought to its knees. It suffered far more than say France did. Japan is doing great. Why isn't France? Germany was devastated more than nearly any European country and it's come back better than most. I don't think World War II is a good rationale. Hate to nitpic

Took me a while to dissipate all that information, but upon having undertaken the task of reading your very first post, I have come to the conclusion that the contents are, undeniably, utterly, brilliant. In other words: LMAO!

I'd rather be a zombie than be forced to listen to inane conversations on the bus in the morning rush hour, or to damsels in distress on their mobile phones explaining their life problems to their best friends, and everyone else that happens to be around them. Blessed be the iPod, my saviour.
