I'm just wondering if there will be a setting for the tactical battles which will allow you to place priority placement for your party when you enter a tactical battle. I remember someone suggesting something similar in WoM, if not for this game, but seeing the tactical battles reminds me that the placement of the party can be optimized. It's especially annoying those times when the melee unit you want to use immediately has to go around everyone else and thus use

7. Pioneers will be able build on resources outside your zone of control (as long as it’s neutral). Will the five tile rule still apply here; meaning will resources still need to be very close to a city to be of any benefit? Could pioneers also have a feature that helps link these further away resources, because without being able to link to them, building on these resources would just be a waste of gold....<
maybe the guys upstairs could put in some sort of game option which would allow us to decide what charactors the children grow up to be...it is reasonable to assume that not all children grow up to be just like mommy or daddy, lol. maybe they could put a child creater option similar to the sovereign creator at the beginning of the game, only the child creator (if selected) shows up once the child comes of age, allowing one to make good looking children with stats where we want
Your sovereign is the powerful Channeler who generates +1 mana per turn. Each time you capture a shard (which in v1.1 willl have 1 seeded near where you start) it will provide +1 mana also as well as amplify certain spells. When you imbue a champion, it costs -1 mana to maintain. When you summon a creature, it will cost -1 mana to maintain. Thus, if you want an army of spell casters, it comes at the cost of having your sovereign being as powerful as he could because
I rarely, if ever, spam cities. Unless you consider building 3-4 cities the whole game spamming [e digicons]:)[/e] how do you get all the resources? on even a moderate sized map the 5-tile rule leaves out quite a bit, so i always end up having to city spam... is there something i'm missing in reference to that?
I would like to see at least a small dynasty mod. This would allow those of us that want to create dysnasty mods to do so, isnce it doesn't seem like the files are modable, or even able to be found. Something along the lines of: Succession option available so children may take over kingdom after sovereign dies Ability to remarry after spouse dies (maybe a grieving period) Ability to marry more than one person (as option) ability for chi
I've seen similar ideas and lots of questions regarding the modding and possible patches regarding the Dynasty system and marriages...here is a similar post as well. https://forums.elementalgame.com/396048/#2766660...however , you have more suggestions than that post, which i agree with...i also agree with your pacing questions, it is very unusal to think that a dragon or wolf may only move twice. I hope frogboy
is there some way to tweak or mod the game files to allow cities to link to all rescources with their given influence? I believe this is hard-coded does this mean i can't edit it? sorry for asking, i'm just not good with computers and don't know the "lingo" lol
I would also like information on how to mod the dynasty system...this would not only allow us to tweak the settings so we can get our children to marry champians and other non-faction NPCs, but would also allow units to remarry if their spouse is killed or even polygomous relationships or anything else a person may want from their dynasty system. i believe ideas regarding these kinds of tweaks were also discussed in previous posts before the game was published (people talking about
I've been playing the sandbox mode and i don't know if this is a bug. Building within your sphere of influence certainly allows you to build upon resources, but that doesn't mean that you get that given rescource. I've noticed that recources even within the sphere of influence and built on may not "link up" to the closest city. For some reason, i can never get a resource bonus from my map unless my city is about 3 tiles away from it. I prefer to build large
I look forward to the upgrades mentioned in this list, but i had a question about the Dynasty system. For example, to start with my sovereign marries some random champion i picked up, and after a short time children are created, but once they grow up am i only able to marry them off to other factions. I don't think i've been able to marry them to other purchased champions, though i may have been doing this incorrectly. I know that I at least don't like to
