*** Unreleased *** Fixes Crash fixes [...]
Excellent. Can't wait to be able to play a stable game. I'm hoping there is a lot hidden behind this unassuming bullet point.....
As a user who's waiting to get a fixed game - I'm really interested in seeing fixes come out for the numerous crashes which are being reported on a 'semi-regular' basis (yes - I've posted one of them). I expect that LH is very complex (due to it's design approach) and no doubt whilst many of us might be experiencing CTD's I imagine that the causes are numerous and varied. I've accepted that these things can take time to fix and I trust that
Derek and team Great effort with LH. Have been experiencing issues - game starts off fine - but after 10 or so turns CTD. Textures don't draw, game slows down to a crawl and eventually exists. Windows 7 32bit. reducing screen resolution helps avoids problem but doesn't stop it. http://pastebin.com/YTSnkNsK Now the best / worst part - you should take it as a compliment that th
[Simplified post] Since when did all troops die when the sovereign is killed? I dont remember this happening before 1.09v??
Well, even though I cant keep up with the sheer frequency of patches (I'm not complaining - just didn't get to play some of them) I can confirm that this has happened right through to (and including) 1.09v. To the earlier question - digital download, Vista 64bit. I've updated all 1.x/2.x GB once (1.09n??) but then reverted via the back-dating process (no-beta - verifying install etc). Not a huge issue given the workaround and/or a fast internet connection; more annoying than any
Well done Stardock As an owner of a lower end (dual core) machine I must admit that the performance is a lot better and smoother. Subsequently it feels better to play - however I've not tried later stage games yet. I can feel the 'under-the-hood improvements'. This release shows a continual commitment to the community as a whole. Some of the simple changes are the best. I like the idea of seasons and some balance of these could go a long way. How
This may help some having this problem... I had also experienced this issue only with the beta, and had also changed my login name previously. Even thought Impulse _could_ login it seemed Elemental WoM could not. Changed back to the old name, changed credentials under Impulse (coz I had to) and it worked. The original game was purchased under the 'old' username. Maybe a coincidence - maybe something more...
[e digicons]:sun:[/e] Nice... Thursday in Australia - starting up impulse...
I sit and read but rarely comment - but this is something where I feel a different opinion might help. note: I have no past experience in D&D, dice based game, but love the potential and the openness of E:WoM Combat is about committing your troops tactics to employ a strategy. What I'm finding in E: is that I can change my approach based on how successful my individual turns (at the unit level) are. <p style="padding-l
If 1.07 does what it claims, I think we finally have a game.... [e digicons]:w00t:[/e] Now we can get down to normal Stardock game business (playability, AI stupidity, and possibility).
