JMBdev: As Lotherius responded, the mouse cursor itself freezes temporarily. I am using a single zooming bar, normal layering, no tasks in the bar, and "Reserve edge of screen" is unchecked. This is an XP machine with Intel graphics and a Logitech mouse. Version 1.58(b).008 is the last version that does not exhibit mouse freezing for me.

I'm seeing something that Lotherius mentioned in reply #58: The mouse cursor occasionally freezes while OD+ is running. It usually happens when applications (including OD itself) are in the process of displaying menus. Once the complete menu is displayed, the mouse cursor un-freezes.

As of the 4/13/2007 build, I'm still having problems with the mouse cursor temporarily freezing. It usually happens while long menus are in the process of displaying. Once the complete menu is displayed, the mouse cursor moves properly.

MySecret, I checked the link and read reply #4 (and the other replies) but didn't find anything related to mouse freezing. Perhaps I'm missing something? Anyway, I will continue loading new builds as they become available and rolling back only when necessary. Thanks!

If I don't unload DesktopX 3.0 before shutting down Windows, it will automatically run when Windows starts. I have not set DesktopX to run automatically and it is not in my (or All Users) Startup folder. I've looked in the obvious Registry locations but have not found what is causing it to run automatically. Is MCP causing this? Can I stop it?

I updated ObjectBar yesterday and now its icon appears in the taskbar whenever its running. I see an option for removing the icon from the system tray but nothing for removing the icon from the taskbar. Any ideas?

A previous version of MCP did this to me. Turning "Run ObjectBar automatically on startup" in ObjectBar OFF, rebooting, and turning it back ON fixed the problem. However, this doesn't seem to fix the problem for me in the latest version of MCP.

Any idea why the splash screen displays as a big black square? Had this problem with an earlier version of MCP and fixed it by changing the ObjectBar "Run at startup" option. No luck with latest version of MCP.
