Honestly, the nerf I would really like to see on HoB would be making it an aura around the demigod at a set range that the minions heal in. One of the most broken aspects of the favor item is the fact that you can pop it while your minions are halfway across the map and it still works on them. I like this change, but increasing the CD to a minute wouldn't be a bad idea. Originally you got it for 10 seconds every 45, while now you will have it for 25 ev

It's a little nitpicky, but saying that "Demigod has the smallest community of any multiplayer game I have ever played" shows that you haven't played many multiplayer games. Maybe it's an age thing (and I am really not that old), but I have played PLENTY of MP games that have a smaller community than Demigod in the past. MUDs in particular come to mind, many of which have less than 100 players. Gemstone IV (a game that has been around for 20+ years and has a monthly fee) h

It's unfortunate that the premade community isn't being supported as well as it could (it's the reason my friends and I haven't really done anything other than compstomps when we have played together) with team automatch and the like. It's also unfortunate that getting a good premade game can take 30+ minutes, but them's the breaks. To compare again to WoW (since for some reason that is considered a metric of comparison to this game when they aren't all that similar) once the "p

Cool idea. I'd suggest having the hill move every 5 minutes at MAX though, and that even feels long for me. I don't want 1 or 2 minute hill moves like an FPS, but 10 minutes in one place seems WAAAY too long. I'd suggest another mod of the game type as well - Graveyard. Basically, instead of getting points for getting time in the hill, you get points for every demigod kill you get inside the confines of the hill, and leaving the hill gives you a 10 - 20 second debuff

If you play either call of duty it doesn't spill you back out to the main screen. In fact in Call of Duty if no one quits its possible to play the next game with all the same people. So yes, I still agree that it was "random" but all the players just had fun and wanted to keep playing. Why don't you go rage about something important like High Priest

Man, Nerf guns were pretty fun back in the day. I remember the packages said not to shoot your friends with them, but who really followed that rule? I feel that this is a vital and extremely good contribution to this thread.

I think the most important thing to do at the moment is work on the matchmaking. Games with a seamless matchmaking experience (The Halo series comes to mind - they do a pretty damn good job) tend to do well, and I think that would be a driving factor behind Demigod's sucess. Group / Clan play is vital - it needs to be easy to join up with your friends and play Pantheon / Skirmish. Of course, Pantheon and Skirmish need to be able to support group play - this means a matchma
Touche and to tell you theres more like 8 who play exile.
Considering that Exile still comes up in Pantheon, I'm guessing there are more than 8 people who play it. But then again, I've gotten it all of once in Pantheon, so maybe he IS right. Still, this is kinda dumb. I think moving the crystal is the best option.

I just finished one today, and I have played quite a few. To be honest, I think your problem might lie just in playing Sedna, or trying to play a healer in general. Unfortunately, the single player game GREATLY favors stacking damage / attack speed / criticals as much as possible, since the AI is very bad at judging when to retreat. Keep in mind that winning the tournament requires you having the most favor, not just winning the majority of games. The game favors s

I mentioned this in another thread, but seeing that pretty "Stardock" tag makes me want to repost it :) I'm still having the exact same issues with favor that I was pre-patch. Offline, my favor items are not saved but I am still charged for them. Online, they aren't saved but I am not charged for them. Am I the only person experiencing this after patching?

I fought a fire TB the other day whose master plan was to charge into melee and use fire ring. Thing is, I play a pretty heavy mine regulus most of the time. I farmed kills on him endlessly, mostly because he'd charge in and fire ring, only to then turn and run through the mines that I would always drop right behind him EVERY TIME he did this. By the time I got shrapnel mines I didn't even have to try to kill him. The best part was his ragequit line, however -&n

Adding one I haven't seen around yet: Pantheon / Skirmish joinable as a group - and IN THE SAME UPDATE (I cannot stress how important it is to do this at the SAME TIME Pantheon / Skirmish become joinable as a group) add group matchmaking - i.e. if you join as a 3 man team, you get matched against other 3 man teams if possible.

The only two things I could see really being necessary would be - Have +weapon damage increase spell damage so that damage is more attractive (right now many people avoid it becuase it doesn't add damage to their spells) Have Blood of the Fallen be percentage based (right now it is one of the best favor items bar none in the early game - at level 1, if you fight someone with BOTF and you don't have it it is a guaranteed loss)
