Error: Could not run SDactivate.exe. Try running as Admin. The fix isn't working for me. I have user account control turned off, and I'm using an administrator account. I also tried running the exe with admin privileges. Emailed Stardock support earlier today and got the canned response of "we don't support Windows 8." Neither do I Stardock. Neither do I.

I love this game and just recently got back into playing it a bit. I'm really confused about the current status of this mod. Can someone tell me how to download the correct version of tsop for entrenchment 1.053? Are there multiple files or just one? Does this mod's improvements only apply to lan play, or is it also viable for ironclad online games? (I know its a dumb question but I don't care) I also notice you are having server problems. Might I sugge

I prefer cold Michigan weather. Driving in snow and ice is fun too. When I lived in the south, I pitied those who thought 1" of snow was too much to drive in, and that 40 degrees is cold. Ha.

They would only have nvidia onboard graphics, not ATI. I don't know why people are so concerned about onboard graphics consuming system reso

But how much longer? It can't be too long or it would be useless. Maybe it should be closer to the cooldown of Reg's snipe?

Do they at least say "sry" before kicking you? I would. @golgoth It works like XBL matchmaking...I mean, it works the opposite of XBL matchmaking. You click fight, then wait a while. Seriously though, if you feel like you wait a lot, try joining Pantheon during the evening when a lot of gamers are playing. I'm in U.S. East, so I see a lot of people on around 6-11pm or later.

I'm sick of people saying UB is op. I don't fear facing him any more than another dg (not that I always win). What is OP is a pro player or premade with skills. Then it almost doesn't matter what dg they have.

You could host games if you want to avoid being kicked. Sometimes it takes a while, but they always trickle in. Feel free to send me a friend request, and if I'm on I'll join your game. FYI, my friend chat doesn't work.

I'd recommend spending at least $700 and look for an Asus. Start prowling dealnews.com daily, so you can get an idea of what prices are good on laptops. The problem you have is that no laptop for $400 has anything but an integrated graphics card, which won't run Sins. If you can save even more, like $1000, you're in mid-range gaming laptop territory. For about that much I purchased a used Gateway P-7811fx, which has served me well to this day. Bu

Overclocking isn't a walk in the park, but don't let the naysayers dissuade you from trying. I think you had a great idea when you said you were going to wait until you had a new system before overclocking the old one. I have done the same with several computers at my disposal, with mixed results. In most cases, I have not risked OC'ing a computer that I rely on or that is central to my work. That said, you should definitely try overclocking your AMD 3200+, and maybe even your memory

I'd say go with onboard video. The BIOS for the motherboard almost always allows you the option to disable the onboard if you are using an aftermarket video card. This way Windows never knows the onboard video exists, so you won't have driver issues. At any time you can just enable onboard video again if you need to. On the other hand, I'm not sure what price range or quality of mobo you are looking for, but high end mobos tend to come without onboard video. If low end is where you're

In this Pantheon game , the forces of darkness had Oak on their side. We lost because of his traitorous behaviour. Seems like it might have been a bug with matchmaking, but I don't know if it's new since 1.19 or not.

I think it could too, which is why I wrote up the idea. I'm currently studying game design in college so I know a tiny bit about the industry. If nothing else, GPG could sign up for XNA and publish the game using that tool, which was designed for independent developers. Correct me here if I'm wrong, but isn't the game coded in C++? XNA is C++ based, so it follows that a port would be worth the effort.

Seriously guys, we need this game to make it to 360. If pc players could play with xbox live people, there would actually be enough gamers to give this game a deep community. Typing is not an issue, Xbox comes with a headset. Talking is way faster than typing last time I checked. Another improvement would be compatibility with Xbox Live's matchmaking, and their solid netowrk infrastructure. Can you really argue against that when there are so many connectivity issues with the pc versio

To avoid serious instant pwnage from DG's teleporting to a flag you are trying to take you could try: 1 - follow this guide, and 2 - stand at the furthest possible edge the flag can be captured at in the direction of your retreat. That way, if a DG shows up fangs bared, you have a head start to run to the nearest tower or ally or whatever.
