Reply to Modding Depth in WOM Mods

Wow producing single swords for units will be very complex allready considering the micromanagement involved. Why not start with more depth in character creation and variety of skills/abilities (for factions as well). Something that makes more different classes possible and limits the types of equippable items perhaps. I know this is allready in work but there are some obstacles that wont get vercome without developers help. What i really miss are promissed things

Looks like its no real use to argue about that. No matter what, both sides need attention. And both should be listened to in here. Its not about who is right but what is the most important thing to make the Game more appealing.

My oppinion about balancing and mods is that, no matter if intended or not most mods become kind of kitchensink-mods because of the constant strive for improvement and novelty (thats what we want, right?). I also fear that relying on mods alone will hamper MP and split the comunity. Nontheless "the community" consists out of players that began to play vanilla. I love Mods but the core has to be strong to support them. Even Total Conversions have to use the core as a (rather loose) fra

These changes are great but im far more interested in getting the character stats and random heroes (abilities) from MoM into this game. So where is this mod and how one can participate?

[e digicons][/e] looks like MoM-Lovers took over the forums. I appriciate it. MoM was definetly a great game. Elemental at least lacks depth in Character Creation, Diversity of random Heroes/Quests, Uniqueness of Factions to start with. And id like to see a character stats system a bit more like that in MoM. It its easier but still a lot more powerful.

As well as the creator of this thread i dont have a credit card. And until now i thought you need a creditcard for the PayPal account. Thanks for your advice and help. I think im demanding too much but the real box version is one of the things pirates are not able to copy and even in the times of steam or impulse i think a box is something more worth to buy than some bytes and pictures. Ok im pleased now. Thanks again.

If so, I might be able to help out those living in the European Union and lacking a credit card.
Hm, still sounds kinda risky. Im desperate but not a scam supporter. But if you are willing to trust me ill send you the money (if you got a europen bank account) when i hold the box in my own hands. Thats a promise. <p
Since when did the customer have to deal with ordering and shipping? How about shipping some boxes to Europe and let us buy the game in stores, like we usually do? PW
That is exactly the problem. They wont ship the box to anywhere else than the US. Downloads are available but need a creditcard. I would allready have bought the unfinished Game in Beta Stage if that wouldnt have required a Creditcard. <
