Wow, didn't realize. It says it won't be available worldwide until July 13th. Hmm, well, I loved D2, so, Louist, please do play it and tell what ya think of it. I was a little let down by the fact it only has three races (Legion, Elves, Humans) but that's a minor thing I guess. Louist, yeah, seems like I read that the initial release was a bit buggy and like I mentioned they only have three races, but I think the init

I played it and finally played enough of it to win a game by killing off my two opponents. I am pleased with the gfx and with the way it is shaping up so far. I am getting some stuttering in the movements of my units every once in a while but I don't know if that is a bug or just the way it is at this stage. Other than that though, I can't wait to see what it shapes up to be in the upcoming releases. So, thumbs up devs, it's looking nice and keep up the good work.&nbsp
Bill, what is that "Stonesense" thing? If DF would play with graphics like that I think I could get into it. As we all know graphics aren't important, at least not as important as game-play. I do like the game-play of DF, and the depth of things you can do, it's the ASCII look that kills me. It's not that I don't like looking at it, it's just that it's too hard to figure out what things stand for too me. Even if it had the look of Dom 1

Okay. That monster on the far end is not in step with the other two. I guess you are going to have to throw the entire game away and start again from scratch. The next time they have to be synchronized else wise they'll never make 'Dancing with the Stars'. I am ashamed. Serious note: Man, those characters are looking cool. I especially loved the one in the middle. Keep up the good work. *edit D

Hmm, my biggest gripe is redownloading Windows all the windows patches and security stuff. Good luck reformatting. If you use it, let us know how it works. I may use it in the future, if I ever need to reformat again.

I don't seem to get the point though. Do you just have so much stuff that you forget certain programs to install, or are you saying that it is a blessing because it cuts down on the time involved?

One thing I have wondered (and maybe it's possible now) but is there or will there be an "undo" button? I saw Froggy make a mistake and his guy stepped back on a tile he didn't intend for. Is there a way to correct that or is that just a wasted step? I'd hate to accidentally move in one direction then have to waste a turn to correct it. Then again, perhaps there is a way to do that already and I have missed it. I haven't played or messed with the Beta much recent
I played a game called Cleaning Up Flood Damage. Real fun game. It's a simulation where you sweat your butt off cleaning up flood damage in a garage, den, and basement- oh and bonus points for the workroom and sidebuilding. Fun, fun, fun here in Tennessee, especially in 90F degree heat and humidity. Sorry to hear you still cleaning up. I can relate though, been working out at the Opryland gutting the place. Has there been any recent discussions on an espionage system? Will we have spies, assassins, thieves, etc.? Anyone have any thoughts on this or can point me to any recent threads on the subject that I might have missed. I skimmed through the search results and didn't come up with a whole lot (or at least nothing recent). Thanks. Admiral

Same here, so I am 4. Did it when I alt-tabbed out of game then went back in. Heh, I need to follow Publius around. He seems to have the same problems I get and reports 'em faster. [e digicons][/e]

Publius, yeah it sounds/looks similar, and it was a reloaded game when it occurred. It didn't disappear, although I didn't get the chance to end the turn. I had babysitting duties to attend to so I just quit the game. Publius, Boogie, (or anyone) when you separate units what exactly are they supposed to do? Merge and become another stack? Do they just separate into other units? I haven't really played the game very much so some of thi

Heh, like in real life. I may have kids running around that I don't know about. Anyways, no, she is not a child of mine. The dynasty screen shows no heirs. Her description is "roaming priestess and champion". I may have just missed when she joined up. As for the bug- I saved the game where it fouled up. I wasn't able to reproduce it, however when you separate units out of the sovereign stack it becomes a mess, seen here:

I merged my sovereign with several units. After a while I seperated units from the sovereign's group to distribute some items (still not sure how to properly do that, at any rate...). One of the unit's figurine popped up near one of my cities after I separated her out of the group. I couldn't click on her, move her, or interact with her at all. Also, while I am thinking about it. I am not really sure how I got the above unit to begin with.&
