[0.32][Bug/Gameplay] After seperating unit from group, it pops up in/near city

I merged my sovereign with several units.  After a while I seperated units from the sovereign's group to distribute some items (still not sure how to properly do that, at any rate...).  One of the unit's figurine popped up near one of my cities after I separated her out of the group.  I couldn't click on her, move her, or interact with her at all.

Also, while I am thinking about it.  I am not really sure how I got the above unit to begin with.  I clicked on my city and there she was with along with 3 army units I made and a unit/merc I hired.  I am not really sure how I got her.  Perhaps I just overlooked her joining me.

I didn't have the chance to take a shot of it, but will next time if it happens again.

Was she a child of yours?  They will appear in your founding city...quite stealthly, if you're not reading the message popups :)

As for the bug, is it reproducable via an autosave? Thanks!

Heh, like in real life.  I may have kids running around that I don't know about.

Anyways, no, she is not a child of mine.  The dynasty screen shows no heirs. Her description is "roaming priestess and champion".  I may have just missed when she joined up.

As for the bug- I saved the game where it fouled up.  I wasn't able to reproduce it, however when you separate units out of the sovereign stack it becomes a mess, seen here:

This might be the same problem I reported in this thread.  Did the phantom unit disappear after a turn or two, or after a reload of a saved game?

Publius, yeah it sounds/looks similar, and it was a reloaded game when it occurred.  It didn't disappear, although I didn't get the chance to end the turn.  I had babysitting duties to attend to so I just quit the game.

Publius, Boogie, (or anyone) when you separate units what exactly are they supposed to do?  Merge and become another stack?  Do they just separate into other units?  I haven't really played the game very much so some of this stuff is kind of new to me.  I tried separating another stack of guys and they sort of leapfrogged out into separate units.

If I want to separate units from a stack, I first select the unit within the stack so that it has the little up arrow on its icon, like this:

Then I right click on an adjacent tile, in this case the one southeast of the stack:

Doing this separates the unit, and If I repeat the operation and select another unit from the first stack and move it to the second stack, it joins the second stack.

This generally works well, except when you want to move units out of cities.  In that case they don't always exit the city where you expect.

If I recall correctly, one of the developers said that units exit cities only at "gates", which with the current version of the beta we can't see.

That is what I do, except I didn't know you could select the tile to which they could separate out onto.  Well, now I know.  Thanks.
