Do you all remember in Heros of might and magic 3 their was underworld maps that you could make a entire underworld. Will the game have that kind of map system where you have multiple maps. It would be kind of cool to have a heaven and a hell/underworld layer on the map.

ya in the old days you could raze a entire city fairly easy. I'm sure the designers will add lots of nasty little things for defending a city against enemies. So I would worry about it.

I just preordered the game today and missed the 18th because I didn't know the game existed. Any place to still DL the beta? Or is it true I'm able to download beta 3 when it comes out?

I'm for withdraws from the battle only if they have movement left to spend. Could also include anti-withdrawal spells like slowing down or paralyze units and also terraforming spells that block escape. I would also like to know how big battles can get. hundreds of units in squads would be fantastic! Epic clashes are needed for a epic game.

forts are good to house your slower unit who are vulnerable, like catapults and archers. This is a great idea and would love to see forts be part of the game. Also, walls would be great too. However, these should not be cheap to build otherwise you get alot of turtleing.
