game won't start :( in Demigod Stardock Forums

i run windows xp on a powermac and i got the coupon for demigod from a friend. so i installed the game with no problem. but now every time i click on run only the played counter gets bigger but the game never starts up. i get no error message or anything like that. it just does nothing when i hit "run". what can i do?
