The last 5 random games before that were they have generals, we didn't so we couldn't win... cept for the one where they sucked so bad we couldn't lose, even without monks. Feel free to jump in "3v3 Random" if you see it. I host it everytime. I hope others will also (or larger!). I'm bored to stinking death of Oak, UB, LE. Some of the best games are random, if you are afraid not willing to try it. Good players changing the stale game strats up. Sometimes one team will have a huge advantage in DGs, but will get ganked by the surprising synergy of some of the lesser DGs.
Seriously? Dude, I played a game with you quite a while back. You won the first game, no invalid gamestate. I thought "what the hell", rejoined another PUG against your pre-made. We were winning... INVALID GAMESTATE Could have been coincidence, but evidence adds up. Can you quack like a duck for us?
Played invisigoth666 last game and he was a pretty obvious Shield 3 + tp guy. My swaps were bugged, because I was timing it so I would pull him back from the crystal. Best I can tell, he's port out for .3 secs about, then my swap would go through, but he'd trade places with me and I would go to where he was prior to the TP. So both of us are still on the flag basically, and nobody is at the crystal. Haven't seen that before. BTW, Invisigoth666, I don't understa
Vel and Vek and Mat. Invalid gamestate = true.
In a nutshell, EVERY time you play it's DA (used to be Reg everytime). At least in my games, it was an uphill fight to keep the team alive. You didn't purchase cit upgrades, you worried about you getting kills. The logic of: Reg/DA gets kills = gets gold = gets cit upgrades is great. But the logic of: the team suffers and has no flags for half the game while DA/Reg tries to get a kill and does not buy upgrades, nor can he hold a flag, nor does he help the slugfest
Errr.... Ummm... don't do it Cinders... don't do it... ...ihatewhenmaxsteelisonmyteamheisaliabilityandrequireshisteammatestowinforhim... don't doooo ittt... oh wait. nvm. sry!
I'm down for this :) I will pick any "random only" game on sight, just to stir the pot. I'm SICK, SICK! of Ere/oak/UB teams. I'm tired of the same items, the same strats, the same tactics. The computer could play for me at this point, it's robotic. It's fun to have jacked up teams and come up with strats. 2 regs and a da turned into a ganking machine mid game on a random. The other team had stronger DGs. (12 mines behind lines and DA swaps ont
imho, only a nuke type build will have any luck against 1v1 erebus. He recovers HP quickly, plus has nearly unstoppable escape ability (batswarm, or just plain stun or bite + his natural speed). If DA can get high enough level, he can tear LE up pretty well, but I doubt you'll ever get to a high enough level in a 1v1 against a minion build. DA's swap is great for the batswarm escape. On 3v3, if I'm DA with the level needed, I'll push erebus and anytime he separates f
Open mod tools, we (the community) could easily chunk out models and abilities. I think animations and voice would be the hardest to get to professional quality. Then again, you never know. Somebody here may have a rich voice and someone else may have L337 skills with a mixer/editor. Animations would suck to do, but still possible.
Holy F*@#, League of Legends is stupid. I can overlook the cartooniness of it, but the magic is WoW type, it's all the same stuff, nothing unique. Items are ok. Gameplay sucks. Chasing an enemy is pointless, you'll run after him for 2mins straight due to the map size. Not catch him, then run from creeps for 2 mins back to your lines. Voices suck. Sound sucks. Characters kinda-suck, more WoW'ish, but I guess that's a genre. Nothing can
Damn it! This game has the best animations, music, sound effects, voices, humor... everything! I'm getting bored and I know it's coming up on "that time". Wish they'd open source it so we could put new DGs, items, etc in there. My other beloved, Company of Heroes, was the same. Best game in it's class, but as time wore on, the lack of patches and just plain short attention span of normal gamers shrunk the community to a small, but hardcore group. The game
Attitudes such as the OP's and those shared here is why, for me personally, and a few others i know, are the main reasons we gave up playing DG. And i assume for many others as well... Since when did the Demiverse become a dictatorship???? If there are multi's in lobby then fine, ask them to change or kick if you have to.... But not allowing someone to play as a character they want...or on random (if agreed by all) is a step too
Well, I guess printscreen doesn't work for screenshots. I got maxsteel, stanlord, chewy and a few others were in that game. Guy is a huge douche, sucks horrible (was on other team, so was good for me, lol). Beyond obvious he was the one doing it. I felt bad for those guys, he cursed them out soundly on "all chat" everytime he died. And it was often.
lol! I'd kick you in a heartbeat, Teseer! Really, the problem isn't with Regulus being weak, or TB or DA being weak, it's the specific problem that weak players choose regulus. Like Gonzo said, it's not regulus, it's the player. I rarely see a super weak player going for DA or TB, though it does happen, but I can live with that. This is the best idea I can come up with that fixes most of the problem without turning DG into a rule nazi game.
I'm not sure where you stand, but I'm sick... SICK of low skill, regulus players jumping in a game, pulling the old "instantly pick reg and hit ready". As a joke, sometimes there will be 3 regs already, but some jackass will still do this. Politely asking for a tougher DG always, always results in "what's wrong with reg? I'm pretty good with him.. (on high gold, high towers, and the opposition is AFK)". I'm going to start putting "No REG" in the title of my games, wi
Obviously everyone has 99999999 favor points. Obviously only about 5 favor items are ever used. Not that I expect any changes, but maybe a mod will address this one day. 1) Is there anything we can think of that favor points could be spent on? I wonder if something like 2000 favor points to buy tower regen 1 would be a possibility. Something where it cost a huge amount, gave a little buff, so after an initial spending spree, people would have to start conserv
Weird, got swapped while TP'ing after a fake out. Both of us TP'ed into my base. Was rather funny, but how did that queue up? Anyone else seen this?
Seeing a lot of invalide gamestates and guys quitting at the end to induce a null game or no-loss. Think we should start posting the losing teams names up here, not indicating blame or suspect, but establishing patterns. A lot of names may pop up, but the consistent ones, especially the consistent names that belong to players with higher win ratios, could implicate them. I realize my name and other people I know are innocent will show up, but it may be worthwhile if we c
I don't know how you get to play Reg even. I never have the chance. Every game has a reg player already. Whether there is a reg when you join, or if you have the douchebag that joins and picks reg no matter what, then hits ready, then ignores all text. So of course if you want a chance at winning, YOU have to change. The other team is always more than happy to ready up if they see 2 regs, lol. I'm always guilt tripped into picking the same
yeah many love that dg. thats why many play him and suck. i personally suck with tb and reg. but the least thing is that i know it. most people tend to think they're good with reg while they are totally and utterly useless. its not such a big problem that reg is a weak dg or that there are only bad reg players out there. the problem is they dont know how bad they are, therefore dont give a damn about tips and they take him even if they are up against
Hey cinder lets play a game together; I got reg.
lol! Then I get DA! They always think snipe is going to help. They're usually in the center, sniping until oom. It MAY help on the 1v1 side, but the HP side is usually "WTFBBQPWNMYFACE" 2v1. A snipe doesn't even scratch the gankage happening there. Regulus, in like 2 people's hands, is good. Regulus in the ot
You make/join a game. One that's low on people. Pick regulus. After others join, sit there for second. A) Some jackass on your team will pick regulus also, then instantly hit "ready". He will then ignore "no doubles" or questions/comments/concerns/hate directed at him for the next 2 mins. I envision some guy sitting behind his computer, eyes squeezed shut, praying "letmeberegulus, letmeberegulus, letmeberegulus". or they don't pick regulus.

The most productive economic system is laissez-faire capitalism because it allows for competition between businesses which should lead to lower prices and higher quality products. I do not support pure laissez-faire capitalism because businesses need some limits on what
