Thank you very much for the update. Don't think of this as a complaint of any kind, but would it be possible for the next time an opt in patch is released, to make a thread with the change log? I didn't have the opt in enabled on the settings, so I wasn't receiving the patch at first, and also, I would like to know in advance what I am getting when possible. I know there was a "preview" thread about it, talking abou

I forgot to take a screenshot unfortunately, but a couple of times, in some tactical maps, the AI seems to get stuck while deciding where to move its units. This result in being unable to go on with the battle manually, and being forced to autoresolve the rest of it, which in my case often results in overwhelming wins becoming overwhelming game losing losses. I have the tactical maps DLC, don't know if it is relevant.
I am starting to notice the same thing you just said. Obsessed to say the least, they will build stacks of pioneers, the more I kill, the more they make, they build loads of unguarded outposts that I keep stealing for free, loads of useless cities that cripple their economy, they are costantly at 10% of tax income because of this... I bet most of their income comes actually from tributes demanded to the other AIs... I tried a game with a medium map but still 6 AIs. From the re
So, I took advantage of the sale and decided to get the game since I really liked Sorcerer King. I love 4x games but I suck at them, mostly because I prefer to learn by playing instead of taking the time to gather info on the mechanics/watch videos of other players and so on. Anyways, for my first game, I decided to put the difficulty level at challenging. I wanted the AI to play at its best, but at the same time I couldn't afford to give it advantages or I feared I would

Hey Derek, you really can't say anything new about the famous definitive edition like if it's still going to happen or? Since I am still lacking some DLCs I wanted to buy that one to get the whole package, especially if that would somehow help you gather the funds needed for the extra features you were hypothetically planning to do like a rework on the diplomacy and the dynasties.
Thank you very much for the patch indeed, it is good to see the support for the game going on so much time after release. I wonder however, what happened to the original plan to have an ultimate edition and/or DLC for LH coming out. At the beginning what interested me the most about the 2.0 update was the announcement that it would contain dynasties and diplomacy overhaul. Then it was stated that it would take too many hours to make as a free update, but I kept hoping
I honestly think that for as good as a game can be on release day, it can always be improved. So the way I see it from a player perspective, pushing back the game could only mean getting a better game in the end, so there's no reason to be against that idea since in the meantime the players can still play the early access version, which will already be close to a final version anyway. What I am worried about is that as someone already pointed out before, I don't really
Frogboy, I am not sure I can agree with your reasoning. I think it is only normal that a tactical battle takes time to resolve. I don't understand why they should be called tactical battles if they are perceived as a bother that should be resolved quickly. In the case of spells for example, you added a different layer of strategy by adding terrain morphing spells you previously could not exactly because this is a different game from LH.Their implications and conseq
I think that if a unit dies in combat, but you win the battle, you should be able to keep all the fallen units equipment. but if you lose the battle and all your units and heroes are slaughtered, then you should lose all the gear permanently.
Everything is looking great Frogboy. Only concern I still have is about randomization. Just how random will the quests/conversation system be? I know that you plan on putting lots of quests. I know about the dungeon master system and the world shaping depending on your choices, and that was great news. But what I am talking about is, to make concrete examples: You said in a previous post of yours, that
I am completely up for a remake of WoM with the experience and knowledge that the developers have matured until now. I never tried the original, I stayed away because of all the bugs and design shortcomings, but the concept and many of its idea I thought they were brilliant. I would like to see a remake of it "done right". I would also like to see a DLC adding dynasties and better diplomacy to LH.
I thought the diplomacy overhaul was going to come with the 2.0 patch. In any case, what really interest me are the diplomacy overhaul and the dynasties (which I hope will link well together with the diplomacy system). All the rest are just bonuses which are nice to have but nothing more.
[quote quoting="post"] If they ally with you, they will be attacking the Sorcerer King on their own as well as giving you units. In addition, you can outright ask them for help Each minor race can provide different types of help. Each game, what the minors have will change slightly. That is, you won’t get the same potions or spells or ingredients every time. They have their own fairly vast library of “stuff” that is unique to that rac
