You guys seem to be forgeting that uproot is not channeling, you can cast and forget it while rook has to get right up on the tower and take hits to deal his damage. Try maxing uproot damage with compost (which does not require you to get the kills as someone suggested, but merely be near grunts that die) then doing a hit and run strategy. Uproot has longer range than the tower so you can cast it at the beginning of a wave

untill you meet 3x erebus and he just mists off all 3 spits at once.
If we are looking to replace Uproot, perhaps it should be something closer to her back story. She's supposed to be a temptress, but none of her spells indicate that so far. Maybe a spell called "Irresistable Allure" which causes the target Demigod to have reduced attack speed and at the same time, drains mana from the target to herself. This would help mitigate her flaw of being mana heavy and would at the same time serve as a debuff. Al
Yeah, QoT is supposed to be the siege DG, while the Rook should be more of a general tank, but as it is the Rook is better at siege.
QoT is the siege dg, except uproot is worthless for siege compared to ground spikes.
Happened again with boulder stun, last time i was in open and nothing worked. This time i was in closed and the only ability that worked is shield.
I was trying to switch forms, in a laggy game, as I was mashing the button oak did a stun. All my skills and items on the bar turned red, I couldn't do anything, it never went away. I had to kill myself to get rid of it.
Just an idead, to include an option in custom games to only allow each demigod once per side. Would be interesting to see matches without 3 Unclean Beasts and 4 Erebus
This will never happen, nor should it, I would like to see some things implemented to prevent stacking from being too powerful. 1 common example I hear is 5x snipe, then stack all your mines up! Obviously theres ways to counter this, eve
Great OP, well thought out. I think GPG should seriously consider SOME of these ideas.
uproot needs to be replaced with a better uproot. and the mana cost on spikewave needs to be lowered, thats all.
Well thanks for adding your opinion, spikewave could be lowered in cost slightly, but that's not the topic. Making uproot better would just make towers even more of a joke then they currently are. My point was that without uproot queen can drop towers in a few seconds, if you make uproot instantly kill tow
don't replace it with anything. keep the damage as it is now and allow demigods to also be targeted, adding an ever increasing snare amount 15/30/45/60/75% snare in addition to the damage it does. One of the big gripes about the QoT is how easily most folks run from her.. this would solve that.
Thats way too much snare, remember she already has a snare with spike wave, I think giving her an ad
the dude abides
Ok, uproot isn't fun(my opinion obviously, but I think it speaks for many) or needed, So... What else could queen get for an open form move? I thought it'd be interesting to see if anyone can come up with a better idea then uproot. I'll explain why Uproot isn't needed, if you compare say lvl4 uproot to lvl4 ground spikes, and have full minions and everythings attacking it, it should take about the same amount of time to destroy. If another demigod is hitting
ah yes, the strategy of pushing towers capping flags, killing enemy dg's and buying citadel upgrades, this is a very good strategy.
I've played quite a few games and I've used every hero extensively to try to find the best ways to exploit their potential. To anyone that says the game is balanced, I would say to you that you're in fact bad at the game. (no offense) That game is designed for 1:1 as much as it is 5:5. The skirmish and pantheon games cover all sizes of available matchups which creates an inherent disconnect between heroes that are amazing in 1v1 and t
I bumped that 3 page thread back up from 2 weeks ago. I mentioned that it has been fixed and will be in the next patch.
I dont see how fixing the issue of demigods not chasing a target is fixing the issue of it taking me 3 tries to cast a shield. Am I missing something? Sorry if I'm sounding a bit rude, shits just got me really annoyed, this game is allot of fun, I just want it to work properly before it's too

Right after i made this thread I saw the post right under it was almost the same thing and 3 pages long.
I'm sorry for the negative post but I've been holding this back now since I first played the game. When I try to use a skill I really think it should work, I didnt see anything on the box saying "your skills only work about 1 in 3 tries". I know theres a ton of other problems, I know theres 2 companies working hard on multiple issues, but skills not working when you use them is HUGE. Everything is pointless if skills don't work, Clan Matches are on the way, that would be pre
50% for every hero +/- 3% for a game that's had literally 0 constructive patching is an insanely unlikely occurance. I think the hero balance is fine. I've lost 0 games and I've played at least 40 with every hero. There's a severe lack of quality players and it makes it VERY hard to balance a game, but until that happens I see every hero viable if given the right map/partners.
play me in 2's now
So your telling me there's a conspiracy... The balance really isn't all out of whack like the forum titles would suggest, I think the page is showing a reasonably accurate number.
Why do people think queen is underpowered? actually i think its because players are learning new dg's in multiplayer and lot of noobs will play a whole game in open form, just too many noobs at once and queen might be a little harder for them to pick up.
yes remove speed items. Then hell lets remove armor items too, because if i get armor, and my enemy gets armor, then we both are where we started right? Or maybe we can have like 1 boot in the game that you have to find on the map somewhere hidden, yea. /sarcasm off
