It's five days with my bank and I placed the pre-order on Tuesday. I'm happy to re-order now that the charges would process immediately. My only question is will Stardock try and process the original orders again?

Mine was declined as well and I know why. I set up temporary credit card account numbers for the charge and Stardock placed a hold on the account. Not $1, which I allowed for, but the full $50. Then when they tried to process the payment, another $50, it was over the pre-set limit. So why didn't they either: 1. preauthorize a reasonable amount like $1 to make sure the account was active; or, 2. clear the hold as they processed the payment. Now I
It would say 100% to one friend and 70-80% to my second teammate. No one would play us. Funny part is we are old married guys who only play once a week on average. We lose even as a premade. and it would give your win/game rate, which would be low so people wouldn't feel threatened. i don't see why no one would play you. most people look first at your win rate, and then at who you've played with. <br

I can't speak for others but for me this could be disaster. I only play with friends of mine. It would say 100% to one friend and 70-80% to my second teammate. No one would play us. Funny part is we are old married guys who only play once a week on average. We lose even as a premade. Often we are pushed by PUGs even if we eventually win. The other players have to be 3 lone wolf types for it to be over quickly. My point is the proposed system wou

In the PC vs Console war. PC won early with me. Once I got my hands on Ultima III, I forgot all about my Intellivision. Although the Intellivision's speech module was pretty sweet :) Loved playing "B17 Bomber" P.S. Zubaz I feel your pain.
Kohan. Very interesting RTS.
Kohan is a great suggestion. So many games lack competitive AI. Kohan is not only a wonderfully crafted game but mess with the settings enough and you will find a set up where you win 50/50 or 60/40 etc whatever you prefer. This AI is not passive and will attack you on multiple fronts. Also Kohan had a stand alone expansion. I recommend you find that over the

Try Mount & Blade for something totally different and very enjoyable. Plus there are tons of mods when you get bored of standard game and an addon due out this fall/winter if you get really addicted.

If you can afford it, it's brilliant. Here's why: Free QA from beta testers, when the NDA is lifted you get player buzz that nets additional pre-orders, pre-orders net more installs of Impulse which equals sales of other products, and prehaps most important of all Gamespot can't review the game until it's is a polished gem! You may be the smartest guy in the biz.

I'll add Steve Stevens (played mostly with Billy Idol) and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme). Nuno played flight of the drunken bumblebee on an Extreme CD. Crazy speed and clean.

I still think the first KOHAN w/expansion is the best. Competitive AI, random expansion, clean interface. But then again I prefer to play co-op with friends rather than multiplayer death matches in RTS. I love DemiGod and play exclusively online but I don't consider it a RTS by convential standards.

What is more concerning to me is something else mentioned by the OP. Why is gamespot so down on Stardock these days. In the past they have been very supportive of Stardock and their unique relationship with the consumer. Now it's almost as if they are justifying their original rating of Demigod (which is obviously too low - don't believe me? look at some of the games with higher ratings.) by continuing to take shots at Stardock. Mentioning that GPG would not use
Soo. the main complaint about this game has been the problems with connecting to people, and you propose to do this during a game already running. It was discussed during beta and GPG said there is really no way to do this in the SupCom engine anyway. I could have been nice otherwise
They've already mentioned a server/client model hosted by Stardock that would fool Demigod into thinking i

When a player quits a game or drops due to connection failure, why not simply remove that player and open up the game so someone else can join the game in progress. Do not replace with AI they do more harm than good. The incoming player could select their demigod and begin at the avg level of their team. Give them the gold they would have earned over time (no kills). If the disconnecting player tries to rejoin, simply have them start where they left off. I think

I only ask one thing. If you go with DLC to increase revenue be careful not to fragment the community. Maps should always be free, so anyone can join any game. Additional demigods, if balanced, could be DLC without forcing players to upgrade. Also, the note about a free weekend is smart. Once the build is stable a free weekend is just enough to hook everyone. Don't limit it to multiplayer though. New

I apoligize if this was previously mentioned. May i suggest that you shift your focus from Supply side to Demand. Let the player priortize Demand and let the AI handle the more complex Supply side. You retain complexity, supply lines, and depth with minimal micromanagement by the player.

If we assume that integrated services like Impulse and Steam are a form of DRM, and I believe they are, they are the best form of DRM. They effectively hamper pirates (Steam: game access, Impulse: update access) and are unobtrusive for legitimate owners. I fully support this method of DRM as apposed to cd checks or game codes which are burdensome for legitimate owners and rendered worthless by pirates. I won't even get into the fact that i don't have to drive to Best Buy or

I'd like to see the magic missle have user selected targeting. By that I mean have left click fire x number of missles at x number of targets in the area; have right click fire all x missles at same target. That way it's useful for both creep and DGs. I agree with invunerability belonging to Oak but I propose you replace it with teleport (similar to scroll & items) with a very long initial cool down that is reduced with level. You could have the teleport level also
