some kind of anubis style demigod would fit nice, as would a dragon style

it seems to me that the "latest posts" column on the root of the forums is not the latest post at all, it is the latest topic to be posted.. if someone replies to another (older) topic it doesn't change anything the last topic to be posted is always there, which really defeats the point of a "latest post" forum feature. I come to the forum and check that column for new posts but it's always the same topics because no new ones have been made since then.. just a small bug
The real downside is that it would be really hard for a modder to make a map, unlike all the other rts where you use elemental bricks to build a map (and so it is relatively easy to create a sdk for the modders) Demigod uses huge 3D models. But i also love those awesome maps, i just hope that some other will come in a few monthes.
you guys seem to not get it very well, the actual playing surface that
I get this bug a lot aswell... it's been the reason why I am sometimes unable to kill enemy demigods when they flee because my demigod just sits there for a few seconds doing nothing until I get him a MOVE order and then attack order, it's very buggy..
Rook shouldn't even enter the range of a tower unless he's got significant backup or he's a very high level. That's just asking for trouble. The guy's tough, but not an unstoppable engine of destruction by a longshot. I learned early on that the rook is a defender, not an attacker. Enemies that come to fight him on his own terms are in for a beating, but if he goes out of the offensive he does so at his own risk.
I actually like this idea, we need more demigods as big as the rook :) A dragon would be pretty cool
I actually find Hard pretty easy after the first afternoon of playing the game.. nightmare is 'hard' mode for me I guess but still not that bad
I think the only issue is when you get a "weakest link" that keeps feeding. A possible change to the gold bounty system would be to reduce the amount of bounty on a specific character after each death. That bounty would build back up over time, but if they die repeatedly they won't be worth a lot. This would mean if one player on the team is dying over and over again but the other players are doing just fine, it's not a big deal.[
haha 100k to model and skin a demigod don't make me laugh
Quoting Sinfulvoid, reply 4its not telling me about any patch and im sitting in impulse. Anyway to patch demigod w/o this POS impulse? Any way to view these forums without these POS-type posts? /sarcasm Seriously, would you like help or not? Impulse is the platform used to "manage" your Demigod installation. It is the only way to patch the game. Please tr
this reminds me of my Tiberian Sun days, if a person had a firewall or router their ping would not show up, so it would put their ping as 1000, natrually everyone just kicked those people. Ignorance ftw ey?
Perhaps something other then crappy youtube videos might be better, but yes there is a resemblance.
that is a good picture :)
I have noticed towers crumbling for no good reason aswell. If there is a time limit on them why isn't it even in the tooltip? Fix the tooltips or remove the timer (preferibly remove the timer because it's silly to invest so many points in the towers which do little damage anyway and cost a lot of mana to drop down)
what about that item which has a 15% chance to do like 250 dmg to enemies around you on hit? I buy it a few times cause it seems useful but I never see it working.. is the damage it does not displayed?
I have a question: if I buy upgrades from the citadel do they take affect immediately, for example if I get an upgrade to increase creep health or damage do all current creeps get this buff or only new ones that spawn after buying the upgrade?
I can confirm this solution. I was using a stripped down version of vista that I created using vLite and I removed games explorer because I felt it unessecary, but I formatted my PC using the original vista copy and the game runs fine now. Why the game depends on this however is beyond me, no other game i've ever played has had this problem until Demigod.
Has anyone else noticed this similarity? Alexander is a summon in multiple Final Fantasy games, and the 'story' goes that it is a castle inhabited by a dead king or something like that, kind of like the Rook's story =) He looks virtually the same except I think in the FF games he doesn't have legs it's just sort of on the ground and fires attacks from it's towers (it has hands though) Not saying it's a bad thing at all, infact it's my favourite de
Shirley has a point; there may be a file/folder that has had it's permissions changed so that the admin. group is barred from access. it's kind of a moot point for an admin. as he (or she) still has the right to grant access to it. you probably could right-click the root Demigod folder and tell it to force some nice rules on all subfiles and folders; as long as the new permissions will allow you and the p
2ghz to 2.65 is quite tame, overclocking has come a long way the past few years. my cpu goes from 2.6 to 3.6ghz on stock cooling
I am on an admin account and UAC is disabled, I have tried "Run as admin" anyway and it doesn't work.
