reading ur specs i see you have 2 soundcards installed, have you tried deactivating the onboard chip? i think you can do that in the BIOS options too...

i really like the status reports, but reading this there is one big question forming up in my head: Why the hell didn't you guys expect something like this to happen? my first guess would be overheating, are you monitoring your GPU's core temp? if not, i'd suggest you'd do it, get the nvidia system tools and maybe set the gfx back to normal, also i would suggest checking if you really have all the newest drivers AND BIOS for your chipset and mainboard installed, check gfx forums for known issues with your kind of GPU's and maybe get a custom BIOS if that would help the issue. There are many possible reasons for this, i just told you how i would try to fix
