Well yeah, the DG's will need to have there skills redone (like why use silence?). But I still think that it could be created, not this year but mabye towards the end of next year or following years. They would need to create new: -hero skills (ex. silence useless, TB circle of fire op) -map (you only need a single map, though additional maps with variations on the amount of lanes would be nice) -new color schemes for mobs I thi
well I wouldnt use Left 4 Dead to descrive Enfos as they are quite different to describe!. Enfos, you have to stop mobs from reaching your center (goalline) point with just your hero (no towers). The other team does the same, so in essence its survival mode (like L4D). But you cant actually directly attack the other players heroes (aside from some abilities) and the two team can not physically reach the each other. So its strictly player vs mobs. What the oth
I'd like to see an expansion or additional varaition for this great game. To be more specific, I would like to see my favorite warcraft 3 mod Enfos! implemented into this game. Enfos which has a team of heroes trying to survive longer than there opponents through ever increasing in difficulty waves of mobes. The mod was similiar to DOTA, but added a more relaxed atmosphere where the someone dieing didnt mean your team gets behind. This came from the
[quote who="Obscenitor" reply="14" id="2252454"] How do you know the guy who would be making a new DG is the one who would adjust the UI? is a good point, I don't know why you sandwiched it inside of all the other stuff you wrote. A single point in most skills isn't useful at all unless it's so early in the game that you can change your entire build around it. The only exceptions are things like stats, boulder roll, mist, and bat swarm, for ob
1. Gold Flags - If you got more gold income than your opponent allows for a large gap to develop. Best to get very early and hold. 2. Exp Flags - You dont want to be outleveled but it isnt as important as the gold flags, since you can deny exp by forcing out the other teams demigod from your lane (hopefully since you have a gold advantage) 3. HP - Harder to kill, all round nice flag. Also have to factor in if you dont control it, your opponent does and his got a good bit more
I'm not trying to be insulting, but this was an in-experianced player mistake. Once you get better, I doubt this will be an issue. I do not want the development team working on such a small detail, prefer they stick to developing more maps/demigods and improving MP performance. Why not have a confirm dialogue? IMO (but most likly the majority of all players) it would be more annoying picking a skill then you get an additionaly click a confirm option after choo
It certainly is my go to favor item. But its not OP. For example: you can equp Reg with Mard’s Hammer (+40 damage, 5%attack speed). Thats a big dps buff at level one. The attack speed also scales much better endgame then the HP. Now I heard that Heaven’s Wrath allows you to farm two lanes at the same time? Now thats OP.
the guy who expects you to look out for him and doesn't even bother buying pots or having his own contegiency plan. This happens a lot while playing Sedna, your buddy will feel free to chase into the towers trying to get a first kill after getting an earlier heal (or even without getting heals beforehand). He always goes to far, in the belief that some random other dude will be there to heal him up as his about to die. Then when he gets destroyed as he tries to flee,
I wouldn't mind playing a pre-made, but usually you know nothing of your opponents and if one your teammates is below the skill level of the premade players, well that gg. The communication plays such a huge factor in this game. Also Custom games is the only place I can get into a game fast *like less than 5 minutes. Its also the only place to play with more than 2v2 demigods. Than panthelion and skimish give poor game modes such as domination or fortress or d
I wouldnt say its op, but I would like to remove it from the game. It destroys (as was mentioned) an important part of the game, where a demigod needs to worry about keeping his HP high. This item allows for most classes to jump out and in with full hp;mana (very strong). But it has drawbacks, such as late game the item becomes less of use since towers are usually destroyed so enemy demigods can chase for longer and preven HoT. When you being chased its better to have spent
I going to have to say that I agree we need the 3 minute rule after experiancing both lag filled games and games when somone had sim speed of -2. Lag games I immediatly quite if it doesnt get better withing the first few minutes if the problems do not dissappear. Those games are totally unplayable IMO, and I'm not going be trying to enjoy one of those game when i can rejoin and have lag a free gaming experiance. Recently I had the joy of playing a sim spee
Exile gets my vote as my favorite. Prison is a 2nd, while cataract is indeed overplayed. Rook is awesome on Prison, his towers allow you to set up a safe heaven in the middle and to start cutting off sections of the map.
I enjoy balanced games and even more I enjoy my limited gaming time. When you get assigned to players who are much much less experianced than your opponents and they start off by dieing multiple times in the first minutes, well then you just got shafted. Your opponents are the ones who can try out new builds and new items, you on the other hand have to play a game of cat and mouse as you run from the better geared players/ coordinated team. Really its only fun for your oppon
Randomzing the teams should just be an option in the custom game menu. Certainly clan matches would not choose to use randomzing for there matches, but a stranger filled lobby might want to (Id also like randomized demigods as a choice). Again the vent players will not choose this option but if they did and the two still indeed have a slight advantage. But it be much smaller advantage, cause 2 players being less effective than 3. But also your buddy from the other team
Sounds like a great idea. But I dont think demogod has the numbers currently to further divide the general population into classes which would limit people's access to each other. So if you are the 'man' in this game and shoot to the top of the rankings, you might have some trouble finding enough highly skilled players who are online at that time to play a game of 6. What I would like to see is the option to have all teams randomized after the start of the game. So instead o
Well I guess I use my version in estimating who wins the Demigod vs DOTA debate. To keep my side neutral i will just mention the main points and the reader can just decide which he prefer's. Graphics (thy must not under estimate the value of pretti graphixs): one game was recently released with an innovative new artistic design and detailed environment the other is reused models but runs very well on anything that has been released in the past 10 years
You impling that by level 5 that a single demogod will leave you very short of towers. Perhaps you meant they will destroy 1 or perhaps 2 towers, highly improbable that there be more than 2 unless its the whole team helping each other (than the hps wont have even made a difference). Anyway the main point was to not buy the Hps for towers immediatly but instead equip yourself with an item such as the +400 hp +4hps at the start to allow you to stay longer and haress the other
Well I have to say I sort of disagree. First no one should use his starting 1000 to get the hp to towers upgrade (600g i think). Instead he should get an item that will help him stay out longer so as to creep and earn gold/exp. The towers aren't going to be destroyed within the first 6 levels unless there's an unharassed rook. Damage from creeps isnt significant either. Demogod's usually prefer avoiding attacking towers due to loss of hp. They will never attack a tower so early if you
I'm so glad this issue is being addressed so fast, as it's increasingly becoming a problem. I'd prefer a team concede over someone getting the option to leave and take what favor points he got. But if this proposal was imprimented, id add a few changes. as mentioned by some posters already: his demogod needs to have his gold handed out, drop or randomly hand out items to team members, and I believe a compansation of some percentage of exp he has earned
UB is what I consider an early game and late game demigod. His spit at level 1 is really painful for that level. But you got to remember that his mana starved at the start. late game with items his really high dps, and his skills make him pretty powerful. Early game most heroes should avoid Ub due to spit, once you get a few levels and items and if you haven't feed the UB you should be able to start turning the fight. how to deal with him early game: As reg stay behind the fro
I've experianced a game where one team went all out citadel troop expansions. The other team went items, artifacts. The game ended with one team being level 20 and the other team being level 13, but honestly the giants ended up being a bigger threat then the level 13 demigods.
Very true, since we 3v3 is the most common multiplayer game we need to get more maps for it.
2 x UB probably the most powerful combination early game. Sedna + QoT = unkillable mid game 2 x Regulus at end game is very hard to counter. (both need to be geared to do dps)
wait. The game is fun and very well made, unless we talking multiplayer.
