I've been a critic of the game since it was first released. I see the potential, but it hasn't been realized yet. Plain and simple. That being said, how can you justify berating the publisher for keeping you informed on what's wrong and what they're are doing to rectify it? Incredible. I haven't played that many games since the first couple of weeks, but I check in daily to find out the games status. Thanks Frogboy.

The question is, taking in the whole picture, do the developers believe that even "hard core" players would still enjoy playing the game with the simple and fun option? If the answer is yes, then making the game appeal to a lot more players (adding the "casual" gamer base) would ultimately be the better option. That being said, there is a small part of me that would like to see the "sophisticated" version done as replayability would probably be extended that way. Why can't it
I'm a big gamer.. been gaming for umpteen years and I have seen games span from seemless releases to show-stopping, game ruining flop releases. A lot of the bad releases are with innovative games that were reaching into uncharted territory (Ultima Online.. I still laugh at the aniticipation of waiting for my avatar to take that next big step.... 2 minutes later, I would be lucky to get 1 more step in.) I want to like this game. I really do. It's a visually stun
I think I might agree that it's a close to being a top - tier game, but you're gonna be hard pressed to find anyone that would agree that it the best game to come out in the last 2 years. Maybe it's my frustration over the multiplayer mess, but this game COULD have been better and to make that statement in the middle of this fiasco was irritating. I guess I'd just like to see the PLAYERS make that statement instead.
Was anybody else miffed by Frogboy's claim that Demigod could be "the best game to come out in the past 2 years"? Lol... As I sit here in the early hours, I have 3 custom games I can choose to join.. and 2 are European. Even if they had added a legitimate single player campaign/story and 6+ more heros and more map selections, it would still be a flaky claim at best. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing it, but I also enjoy playing WPT Hold 'Em on my cell phone.... you know?</
What he said... lol
I appologize if there has been a official DETAILED statement posted somewhere, but the post I read (found by chance) has basically said we're sorry some of you are having connection problems and hopefully we'll have it fixed by weeks end. I don't know about the rest of you, but something detailed would be nice with exactly what problems some/everyone is having and why... and when it's going to be fixed. I don't usually buy games for their single-player campaigns and almost
Same problem here.. Multiplayer needs some major work. I don't think we'll see a smooth multiplayer for a while. Don't bother trying to change your password etc. until Stardock let's you know what's going on.
