Thanks for the info parrottmath, that will teach me to actually read the options next time. Will try altering that for the next game. If there wasn't an option I would have been doing as you suggested Chungas, I tend to role play this game quite a lot, in fact so much that I sometimes ignore the other sov's and just do the quests and wildlands.

Had a game where Yithril started out in a bad position and was unable to setup more than 2 cities, so I went sailing past them in terms of power. When I was about 3x his score I declared war, then just to see what happened I immediately offered them the chance to surrender and they did. I sure hope so, I was just kind of messing round in this game, had a great start and poor Magnar kind of got blocked in so maybe he was bored and trying a bit of area decoration with Outposts. Magnar: "Minions you know what this area needs it needs some outposts, one there and what the hell put 2 over there, now let's see how it looks........ Yes, Yes I like it."

Great idea. It would be so useful, especially on large maps, to be able to mark locations of fertile land, where you first encountered a new race, locations of big nasties, strategy notes for when you load up a save game, multi-player coop games, etc. Karma for you.

Hi bagpus, The town needs to be near a beach, you can't build Harbours on raised coastline. Hope that helps.

These ideas are great, the idea of different types of costs to gain champions is great. The idea of quests to either gain the champion, i.e. they need you to get something or kill someone/thing and quests coming from champions some time after they join you is great and could add a lot of character to the (erm) characters.

I've already pre-ordered dungeon defenders (wish we new a release date on this) on impulse, would probably have bought Dragon age 2 on impulse if I could in the UK, will get a hard copy of the witcher 2 rather than digital download, unfortunately dungeons is cheaper on a rival download site at least for me in the uk so I will probably buy from them after checking reviews.

There are some great fixes and improvements in this list (these to number just a few 1, 2, 24, 32, 37, 44), I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this beauty. With change: " 41. Mine would have to be Ultima IV, V & VII boxes (for some reason I never bought or played VI) with manuals and the assorted trinkets, I have so many good memories of those games, makes me feel all warm inside when I open them up, I think I also still have some of the notepads I used to scribble down clues and such whilst playing.

Murteas et all, I think what people are questioning is the fact that FE (Fallen Enchantress) is being introduced as a new game (possibly with the removal of some WoM play rules) not as an update with additional functionality/content on top of the base WoM (War of Magic), so therefore if you prefer the gameplay of 1.20 WoM you will not be able to play that with the additional content from FE. Then when the 2nd expansion comes out will that be a modification of WoM again or

I'm still getting hp's on the info cards for units with the same name not updating when you highlight one then another in a stack, they both display the number of the first unit highlighted. I hope I described that sufficiently badly.

I agree that the difficulty needs to stay, but if the chance of grouping was reduced so your allowed to kill a few loners, build up experience for your units and make some extra gold from the kills so you can afford the armour when it becomes available would be good on normal. As Wintersong said, this is mainly an issue in forested zones but this could be pretty off putting for average players (not that I'm implying I'm above average) when starting out. Once the Ai i
