I checked the tech forum and saw other people posting about it, but no solutions. I constantly get random voice messages, from other demigods, from my own, from the announcer, random messages which are qued based on various in game actions, yet they have no relation to what is going on.

Demigod constantly has the announcer spam announcements and ones which have nothing to do with the map currently being played. Anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix?

Demigod was finally added to Steam and is right now the fifth best selling game of the day. What the hell took so long? It is also on sale. Likely a few hundred sales today. Seeing it there brought me back for the first time in years in hopes of finding some games now. Did the netcode ever get fixed?

No real need to bump this. It is a simple solution, they thought of it on their own by now for sure, Someone said on IRC they wrote a new DLL and tested it in house, and that it worked fine for 5v5s. It was additionally said it might be out today, but this was second hand, not from a dev. I do not think we'll get that sort of control. I am very confident that the developers will fix this problem within a week or 2, but this is one way to play, in the mean time.

The INSTANT you connect, close all of your slots, only leaving 1 slot open. Do it as fast as you can, if you wait to do it, multiple people may try to connect.

VERY glad to get some information. One suggestion which I think would make things a lot more bearable though, should be very minimal codinng work. Include more information in game via loading bars, flashing icons etc. Have the "connection info" window pop up by default EVERY time you join a game. Is the server down now? I am able to connect and enter and quit the game rapidly, even log in online, but it shows no servers and gives me an error when I go to the pantheon.

I updated without any trouble but I still get long checks whenever I try to play, at those 3 points, when I try to join and quit games etc. If I get through, I get through quickly. If I do not get through, I can wait 2 minutes, 5 or 10, it simply hangs for me. If my computer is not actually online, I have no trouble at all and no delays at all.

Any sort of ETA on when the load issues will be resolved, when do the servers come up on Tuesday, at midnight est, some point during the day, etc? If for example the servers are going up at midnight, i'd stay up. I am not upset but I would appreciate knowing when I can play my game. The single player is great fun but playing online is basically impossible unless your willing to restart the game 30 times hoping to get through each server check.
