I think it's been the difference between being dissatisfied and expressing that dissatisfaction and just being mean-spirited. I'm glad people have high standards but it's become about something it's not now. That's sad and dangerous and really hurts the community in multiple ways, short term and long term.

Hello. I wrote the review. Thanks to all who appreciated it and those who disagreed too. :) I'm certainly aware the game isn't perfect, but I had a really great time with it despite flaws (and I'm still having a great time with it). I wrote a little blog post about this here for anyone interested. Please don't take the score too seriously -- we've always been more about the actual text...the score is more or l
Don't let the haters get you down. :) Loving 1.07.
Game runs even more beautifully now. Great job. :)
Love the idea of a weaker sovereign/heir taking over if your sovereign dies.
Awesome stuff. I have a couple of suggestions: ability to hide the entire UI/HUD for clean screenshots/videos, and also when you take another pass at the UI as you've mentioned, perhaps make it more like the old UI -- the current one is nice and efficient but not very attractive. The old one is gorgeous. Same goes for tactical battles. To be clear, I mean consider making it look like the old one, but be more functional, effective, etc. like the current one. Thanks for listening. :)</

Great stuff. Appreciate the love and looking forward to more Elemental goodness. :)
Nevermind, solution here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/392684
Just acquired the Tome but can't seem to figure out where to go next. Help please? Thanks in advance. :)
I'm a reviewer and yeah, I've decided to start with 1.06 which seems most appropriate, though I didn't think 1.0 was at all terrible or anything. I was having unrelated technical issues for awhile which was a factor too. Anyway, should have it up tomorrow or Monday on Neoseeker.com . :) I know Stardock has had a hell of a time trying to get copies out to everyone so many were delayed.
The 'wouldn't it be cool' idea sounds like it might be essential!
No worries here. We all have those moments. Thanks for the response. :)
I've found it much easier to understand the sandbox game after playing Campaign. :P I'm a newbie to these games and I've grasped it fairly easily. A few tips here and there could go a long way, though. I think the main issue, at least in the sandbox mode, is you're not given enough direction in terms of how to achieve a given victory condition. But maybe that's just me.
To add to the 'comparitor' suggestion (ESSENTIAL), unit avatars should be greyed out if they can't be equipped with a certain item when it is selected.
It was said here too.
Is there a way to view comparison stats in shops? For example, 'broadsword gives +2 over your current weapon'. Also, is there a way to tell which weapons are equippable on a given character from within the shop? Thanks. :)
It does actually, it's just for certain items though, not the big stuff.
