tired of stereotypical Tolkien lore, i applaud stardock for having the courage to bring a original setting for a fantasy world. the only thing i will miss for sure is the fine pipe tobacco of the hobbits.

hopes: epic story driven campaign with lots of replayability in a true imersive world, inovative and revolutionary tbs with some of the earlier titles philosophy (age of wonders, Mom). fears: that the multiplayer overshadows and restraints these hopes bringing a souless template for the demands of the mass market. also, i´m a little worried with the Total War approach and how it will weigh in the scheme of things.

As i remember, trade and caravans were managed in a more or less abstract way. there were important resource nodes outside the city and then you can see a limited interaction going on. if the resources were inside your borders i think that was managed automaticaly. As i understand, that was just a graphical attention to the various resource input you own. Otherwise i´ve read that stardock is striving to go a step ahead and make the caravans really meaningfull in
