When i first tried what Zargon had suggested i first deleted the sig.bin then relaunched the game via Impulse...didn't work and the sig.bin was backagain...so i shut down Impulse and deleted the sig.bin again then started DG by using the desktop shortcut...at first there was nothing..then like 1 minute later i got a popup about registering the game with email/cd key...then it worked after that.

Yea there is definetly a problem with XP currently.... I have Vista and it runs fine...my son has XP and has shut down every process he has with the exception of what is needed to run the system and still can't get it to work.... Seem kind of ridiculous to have to jump through hoops to get this game running on XP...IF you can get it to run that is.... Hopefully they get this resolved in a timely fashion....

The way i understand it is it has to do with your score in the game (top right)...each rank increases every 800 points i think...maybe someone can clarify that but so far it seems to hold true... I had the same problem...so what i did was.... Select Options, 3rd tab is video settings. select the resolution setting (drop down tab) there is a Windowed setting at the top of the drop down. Now the game will snap to a preset resolution much smaller than your monitor.... now to adjust it further just drag the edges of the game window and make it as big or small as you like...... You can now click anywhere on either monitor without it minimizing.

You want to do as many upgrades as possible yourself since thats one of the things tied to Favor points....at the end of the match you want as many as you can get...don't let the AI take em all :)

Favor points do not carry over from solo to multi and vise versa... Although you can start a multiplayer game and start a match with just you vs AI so the favor point farming is gonna be there...wish they made it so you had to have at least 1 real opponent for the favor to carry over..

I don't know if this is what your looking for but.... When you first start the game up go to Profiles... Add a new one (can't delete the old one till you have a second profile)... Name it what ever you like...then delete the other profile.... Is this what you want?
